The hotel is nice and clean. It was a bit quieter than I had expected but that could be the time of the year I visited. Location is excellent for the old town. A quieter street at night but walkable to all the attractions.

The air conditioning set at 18 did not cool the room. The parking was awful to get to (down pedestrian only narrow streets) and was expensive

The room was beautifully furnished. Olivia was extremely helpful. While hotel has parking, it's very difficult to get to it because you have enter a very busy pedestrian zone. A better description of the parking is needed so there are no surprises.

Once we found the hotel (google maps was off a half block), we were greeted by SanJon at the front desk who was absolutely amazing! The hotel was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location in the middle of old town was excellent and we could walk to everything. IT was actually an easy walk from the train station once google maps was figured out.

We liked the hotel very much. The dinning area is beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, but the beds were not great. The air conditioning was perfect. The entry and hallways smelled badly of smoke.

location, location,location. step out the door and old town is at your fingertips. but the hotel is fresh, modern and full of art. And the staff is sharp and fun to talk to. my only pip is the beds are really firm...but that seems to be the norm in Europe. and ps the morning buffet is excellent, fresh and great service. you can't go wrong here!

Freiburg is such a lovely city where you can enjoy the old city center but nature is within minutes of walking. the hotel is in a great location. People are relaxed and friendly in this part of Germany. I’ll be back.

The hotel and its location are extremely good. The staff very friendly and helpful. There were two disappointments! Firstly and especially during the height of summer the room should have been equipped with a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Secondly we missed having our room made up on two occasions during our stay.

This hotel was a perfect place for 2 nights in Freiburg. Right in the Rathaus Square in the city's Old Town with bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to main railway station and also to surrounding hills for walking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a relaxed atmosphere and from my room, quiet at night. Breakfast provided options for all. Great place to stay.

Very difficult to get to with a private car since it is in a no traffic zone. Would recommend parking outside the no traffic zone with a small, hotel shuttle van.

Central and lovely

Great location just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the centre of town just a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with good shower. Breakfast was nice with a lovely setting in a cool bar area. Great hotel in a perfect spot.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Old Town Freiburg

We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. We stepped out the door right into the Christmas market. The room was newly remodeled with modern furnishings. It was a decent size for Europe and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The bed was on the firm side. Good breakfast in the morning. Excellent, cozy bar with great service. The whole team was terrific. Since it was Christmas Market season, we opted to park in a public garage about 5 minutes walk away rather than the hotel's underground garage. The traffic was nuts, and we didn't want the hassle of navigating the car through the crowds. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
