First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully.

Der Service im Stüble war eine Katastrophe. Das Hotel möchte anscheinend seine Verwöhnpersion an den Mann bringen und lebt eine Zwei-Klassen-Gesellschaft. Wir mit Ü/Fr wurden im hintersten Eck der Außenterrasse mit Parkplatzblick und neben dem Standdaschenbecher der Innengäste platziert, obwohl die gesamte Terrase frei war. Der Service liess jedesmal sehr lange auf sich warten, zum Schluß wurde unsere Bestellung ignoriert. Am 2. Abend kam ein Mann (vermutlich der Geschäftsführer) an unseren Tisch und klagte uns sein finanzielles Leid zu seinem Berghütten-Festival. Fragen wie es uns gefällt: Fehlanzeige! Toller Außenpool, das war es aus unserer Sicht aber auch schon.
