Awesome home with amazing views!

We had a great week at this house! You can tell that it was recently renovated, and the owner did a great job with the finishes and updates to the floor plan. The kitchen has everything you need, and a great view of the ocean. The large living room has plenty of seating, and comfortable furniture. The home was also very clean when we arrived. The air conditioning worked great (very important in SC in June), and having extra towels and supplies on hand was very much appreciated. The back porch was probably our favorite feature. It's huge, and they thoughtfully used cable railing to maximize the view while you're seated and relaxing in the chairs. Sunset views are amazing from the private walkway leading to the beach. People come from all over Fripp Island for the views on this end of the island, and it's only a few steps away in this house! We've been coming to Fripp for nearly a decade now, and this is one of our favorite houses ever. Thanks for a great week!

Home away from home

This property is so lovely - the house boasts windows all across the ocean side of the property with incredible views. The covered ocean front porch is perfect for staying out of the sun and still enjoying the ocean. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in! I only wish the house accommodated a couple more people so that all of our immediate family could be there at once.

Always Amazing

The title “THE BEST VIEW ON THE ISLAND” is 100% accurate. Sunsets from the back porch are perfect. House is on the best, most private part of the beach. It’s almost like having the beach all to yourself when you stay here. The kitchen is well-stocked with any cooking utensil or appliance you could need. We have rented this property several times over the past few years, and it is always a wonderful vacation.

Repeat visit

This was the second time we've stayed in this house - it's my husband's favorite place to unwind! It was very clean, and definitely the most well equipped place we've ever stayed. It is very nicely furnished. The kitchen and baths are beautiful and up to date, but the best part is the covered porch and the view. You are ocean front with a beach you share with only 3 or 4 other houses. This has become our favorite place to stay on Fripp Island!

Perfect

The view was spectacular. Perfect place to see the sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed our nearly private beach. The house was wonderful as well. We found everything we needed, even a sippy cup for the toddler. The windows across the beach side with see through shades were perfect for dimming the sunlight without impacting the view. . Bill was very helpful in the arrangements and took care of all our questions!

Glad to be back!

This was our second stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The tides were not as cooperative this time leaving us with no beach for the afternoons but that’s the way it goes. House was in good shape and the views really are the best!

Beautiful updated home

The location offered almost a private beach. Yes to the amazing views. The house was extremely clean and fully updated. What a great kitchen. My husband, two teenage daughters and my parents all felt very comfortable. There was plenty of room. I highly recommend.

Location, Location, Location

This well-appointed home sits at the quiet end of the beach with gorgeous views. The house is designed to take full advantage of those views and dolphin sightings were plentiful. Swimming, beach combing and vegetating filled our days and evenings. It was GLORIOUS. The only hiccup we encountered were items likely left from the previous tenants: a cupboard filled with open food - 3 shelves worth, the outdoor shower had an old bar of soap and a drinking cup, and the area just outside the shower was riddled with beach paraphernalia (toys, chairs, a canopy, etc.). We did our best to neaten up under the house, but a few blustery days just as we were leaving, undid most of our effort. After a long drive, arriving to a space that required some clean-up in order to unpack was a bit of a bummer. I would encourage the property manager to have the cleaning crew check the cupboard and outdoor shower when cleaning between renters.

Great vacation

Great looking house, very well appointed. Layout perfect with great view of the ocean. Kitchen convenient and open to the family room for cooking and socializing. Washer dryer conveniently located. Beach real joy. High tide has limited beach for only a very short period of time. Lovely stay. Would go back again anytime!

Perfect View

I have been visiting Fripp Island for almost 40 years, and I have stayed in a variety of locations. This location was wonderful for what we wanted this year: rest and relaxation on the beach. This home is beach front with a gorgeous ocean-facing covered deck. On days when we didn't want to be directly in the sun or in the rain, we camped out on the covered porch and read as many books as possible. But most days we grabbed our beach chairs and stationed ourselves right in the sand in front of this beautiful home! The beach does disappear at high tide, but that was easy to work around. As for the house itself, the kitchen was a dream - so well appointed and gorgeous to work in. The living areas are full of ocean views and comfortable seating - which is something we just didn't have in our rental home last year, and we sorely missed. The 2 baths are newly remodeled (as is the whole house), and soooo nice. We absolutely enjoyed every single minute in this home! It sleeps 7, but our 4 adults filled the home.

Fripp is the Best!

My husband and I had a great week in this home. Very clean and we loved the close proximity to the beach and water. Bill, the manager, was very accommodating. We had a minor issue with a TV and he came over immediately. Master mattress was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, loved having nice beach towels. We would definitely rent this home again.

A Welcome Private Retreat

Frank and I had just gotten our shots and decided to schedule last-minute spring break with our six-year-old daughter, driving as far away from DC as we could in a day. We escaped to this location with groceries and bikes in tow. Bill's property is AMAZING! We really did not want to leave. Everything about it is perfect - view, location, comfort, fast internet, a clean and quiet beach with dolphins, and the Fripp nature staff and activities are spectacular! Bill must stay here long-term because the appointments are quite lush for a rental (memory foam master mattress!).
