The Space:

470 Tarpon is a lovely one-story oceanfront home located on the south end of Fripp Island. This five-bedroom, three-bath home is perfect for visitors who love the beach and the sound of the rolling waves. Features include an open floor plan, sliding glass windows that open to a sizeable deck, and a separate entrance to the downstairs bedroom. It comfortably accommodates up to 15 people. Four bedrooms and 2 baths are located in the main house. The fifth bedroom with the bunk bed and an additional bath is located off the garage and can only be accessed from the outside. Not ideal for young children.



During your stay, take advantage of the included 4-seat golf cart, your ticket to exploring all that Fripp Island has to offer. Whether you’re heading to the beach, exploring the island’s unique amenities, or simply cruising around to take in the natural scenic beauty, the golf cart provides a convenient and leisurely mode of transportation.

Also included in your rental are up to 15 guest cards. These cards are required for access to all resort amenities, including restaurants and bars, pools (open year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, and more. Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.
