House is everything youâd want. Perfect layout, views of both sound and ocean. Quiet and secluded, yet within walking distance to store and sandwich shop. A short drive in either direction to stuff. Pool with swim up was warm in April even without the heated option. Dock goes out to the sound. What you see in the pictures is legit. Elevator is nice. Game room perfect and walk right out to the pool. Super-high marks overall.
A few suggestions: mattresses seem cheap, like what youâd find in a short term motel or in your first home when youâre trying to fill bedrooms. Iâm 50 but in good shape and my back hurt for days after. Spend the money, itâll be worth it for a house of this caliber. Found a cigarette butt under one of the beds but the house was clean enough. Rated a 4 on check-in survey. Decks need some cleaning up but fine.
Also: TVs. I can work my way around any set up but the combination, or lack of, cable/smart TVs is confusing. Consider both for all or pick one for all.
Couldnât get the sound system to play through speakers. Instructions would be helpful. But nowadays if you need instructions, itâs too complicated. And if there were instructions, I couldnât find them and I wonât search through emails.
Get the TVs off the walls. Odd placements and too small in many of the rooms for the distance. Cords and mounts look awful. For a couple thousand bucks, Geek Squad, or the local equivalent, can run them behind the the walls. You canât have a âtheater roomâ wired like my college apartment; especially in a house like this.
All in, the house is absolutely fantastic. If you can overlook some of the aesthetics I mentioned, youâll love it. But bedsâŠtake care of the beds.
