Getting Around:
You can walk to most places in Fuengirola. The beach, restaurants, shops, and the promenade are usually within 10–15 minutes, depending on the exact route. The city is compact and pedestrian-friendly, which makes walking one of the easiest ways to explore.
For train travel, the Fuengirola train station is nearby. From there, you can take the C1 commuter train to places such as Los Boliches, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Málaga Airport, and Málaga city. The journey to Málaga takes about 45–50 minutes, and trains usually run every 20 minutes.
You can also use local buses that connect different areas of Fuengirola, including the beach, shopping areas, and nearby neighbourhoods. Tickets are inexpensive and can usually be bought on board.
