Kushida Shrine, famous for the Hakata Dontaku Festival, is a 10-minute walk away, and Hakata Station is a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient.
Staff are friendly but the 1st impression when walk in to our room, was bad.
Carpet are dirty with stain, dressing table with hair and dusty, shower area was slippery on our 1st shower, hair dryer was with 1 thick layer of dusk on the netting, water container for coffee machine cracked. The kettle is really old and not been clean for a long time
The hotel doesn't seem that old, but the room was pretty worn out (lots of peeling wallpaper). The biggest issue was that the WiFi has such poor reception in the room it was unusable.
Location is good, facilities are good, bothroom with bathtubïŒ separated toilet, nice reception
HOWEVER,
hygiene is not good!
garbage collection should be done every day which should have also stated clearly in the hotel's info but it had not been done everyday. Small rubbish bin under table while no rubbish bin in toilet, i.e. expected rubbish accumulated 3days...
new towels provided everyday but not collected those used, i.e. also accumulated 3days...
So imagine, you have to be with many towels ïŒ rubbish for 3 days. Clarified with staff those should be done everyday, the day after they exchanged 1day but at the same time broken the door lock.
another issue, air quality was very bad and causing serious allergies, had to wear mask inside room (first time experienced like this...)
