I have done a fair amount of traveling and been to a lot of fine hotels, but this is the most stunning place I've ever seen! The views and villa are absolutely breathtaking- I will be going back! Everyone and everything was wonderful, stayed in touch with me, helped with bookings, and was very helpful up until the day we arrived.

Villa Abbondanza was wonderful

Villa Abbondanza was wonderful. We had a terrific time. The view is amazing. We enjoyed direct access to the sea, swimming every day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Summer In Italy was great to work with. They answered all of our questions and were helpful.

We had an excellent stay at the villa. We were very happy with the villa and the staff was very helpful in arranging transportation for us. The chef prepared delicious meals and was very considerate of our granddaughters allergies. I would recommend Summer In Italy service to my friends.

It was great

It was great. Beautiful location and view. The chef was terrific as were the other members on staff. The villa was just beautiful on the inside although we wanted to spend most of our time outdoors to enjoy the great weather. Very nice sunsets and sunrises. Summer In Italy was very responsive to all my questions. Price was right.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Abbondanza

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Abbondanza. Although some of the bathrooms/bedrooms are showing signs of wear (this really is the only little down side), the villa’s location, architecture, views, ample dining room, helpful and attentive staff allowed our family to experience one of our best vacations ever. It is worth noting that the food shopping and private chef services were a huge asset. They saved us from having to battle the Amalfi coast streets for groceries and the quality of every meal we ate was extraordinary! Home cooked meals at a fraction of what we would have paid in restaurants (only the food cost was charged to us since the private chef services were included in the cost of the booking). Highly, and enthusiastically recommended!

Villa Abbondanza and the delightful staff exceeded our expectations

Villa Abbondanza and the delightful staff exceeded our expectations. The views are breathtaking, from every room. The bedrooms are generous. The bathrooms very nice. The parking comfortable for three large cars. The staff made our week on the Amalfi Coast truly memorable. Chef Luca is an artist, hardworking, thoughtful, and generous. The most memorable aspect of our entire trip were the numerous dinners around the large dining room tables enjoying Luca's delicious food and the company of family and friends. We enjoyed Luca’s food more than the finicky Michelin starred tasting menus. Katie took great care of us. She kept the villa immaculate, made our beds, cleaned our rooms, served food for our meals, and cleaned up afterwards. The third fellow (whose name escapes me) carried our suitcases to and from our cars, assisted Luca and Katie, and was very helpful. I can’t thank the team at Summer in Italy enough. They were very responsive to my numerous questions about the villa, transportation, day trips, and the Amalfi Coast in general. I’ve employed a number of property brokers over the years; Summer in Italy is the best!

It’s an amazing location next to the ocean with stunning views

It’s an amazing location next to the ocean with stunning views. It’s truly unique on that front. The outside areas are great and there a many different spots to sunbath, gather in a group or escape to a quiet corner. The staff were fabulous and went out of the way to help. Not just house stuff but also a concierge service booking cars boats and restaurants etc. Summer in Italy were excellent from start to finish and very fair in dealing with the COVID disruptions.

Like many couples, we had to reschedule our destination wedding at this villa three times before fin

Like many couples, we had to reschedule our destination wedding at this villa three times before finally making it happen in September of 2021. During this process the Summer In Italy staff was always extremely helpful and responsive. When we finally arrived at the villa we met Yunes, Amelia and Fatima [the local staff]. Yunes, the property caretaker, is a kind hardworking person. He was extremely attentive and responsive during our stay at all hours (sorry about that again Yunes). Amelia is a great chef, we had a very large group and we had high hopes for our food during the stay. Amelia didn’t disappoint. Fatima is the hardest working person we have had the pleasure of meeting. She kept everyone’s rooms, linens and towels fresh and clean. She served every 14 person meal and assisted the chef. We don’t understand how she made that all possible. Thank you so much Fatima for making our stay so incredible. Summer In Italy we’re amazing hosts and very responsive! Villa Abbondanza will forever hold a spot in our hearts!

Amazing location and amazing villa

Amazing location and amazing villa. Large, warm and accommodating. We absolutely love Villa Abbondanza and would not hesitate to stay again with a large group of people. The location is amazing - a little remote from Praiano but 600 metres from Marina di Praia Beach and restaurants. Access directly into the sea via swimming pool was the highlight and the incredible views. Thanks Summer In Italy and thanks Christian [the owner's son] for a wonderful experience.

All 13 of us had a wonderful week at Villa Abbondanza. The views are superb, the caretaker very friendly. It took us a while to figure out the logistics, but everything worked well in the end. I was very pleased with Summer in Italy. You were all very responsive.

We all enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa

We all enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The caretaker were very friendly, help us to organize different activities, making our stay very interesting. Most of the room have a magnificient ocean view, but there is 1 that does not have windows giving on outside, 1 that has a small window giving on the side of the villa, and 2 rooms that are not in the main villa but at street level almost. We were using 5 rooms on 7, so it was ok. We enjoyed a lot the pool near by the ocean, the outside dining room, the outstanding views from the terrasse.

We enjoyed Villa Abbondanza and it was perfect for our group of seven couples. Minor upgrades to the kitchen and to some of the rooms would be useful, but we were very satisfied with our stay. We could not ask for a better setting and views. Summer In Italy service and attention to detail are wonderful. You were always available to answer questions or concerns and helped with many details. Fantastic place, beautiful spot, loved the swimming in both the sea and the pool, loved that a large group of people can have so much free space to spread out in - Villa Abbondanza is a great villa for exploring the area.The week we stayed they were drilling in the hills above the villa and unfortunately this noise was very loud and very relentless right up until 7pm. Fully understand though that this was at no fault of the owners and was just bad luck that the hill maintenance took place the week we were there! Everything was perfect :) Owners are such lovely people who made us very welcome. Really happy with "Summer In Italy" staff - extremely helpful at every point of the booking, including the day of arrival and assisting in communicating with the owners. Would definitely book with you again and recommend you to others.
