Stunning House in the middle of beautiful surroundings.The house is a like a small piece of paradise, incredible views and location.The outside is perfect for relaxing with plenty of loungers for the whole group.The pool is rather cold but a perfect plunge after the sauna.Inside has loads of space and chairs for everyone to relax.The owner provided all the info as well as helpful videos explaining things.Things to consider.The driveway/approach is unpaved and was hard to navigate in the dark in a hire car.. car often grounded out on the rough surface.For the number of rooms the hot water situation is not ideal, takes around 10 mins to reach certain rooms and often runs out very quickly. Not enough for everyone to use the showers on the same morning.We loved it and would love to come again.

We all had a great time at the villa. The only criticism would be a fan for air circulation would have made sleeping easier for us and an insect killer in the kitchen and living area would have stopped the flys as we were in the mountains but all around great time

We loved this villa! Great location in the Northern, less touristic part of the island. Situated at the end of a long, gravel track so no passing traffic or neighbours. 5 minutes drive from large supermarkets. 45 minutes drive from the airport ( you definitely need a hire car to stay here!) and 80 minutes from Puerto de Mogan. Gorgeous, otherworldly views of the mountains. The pool was fab, sauna was excellent, annd the ping-pong table was used constantly! All rooms are spacious, and the kitchen was superbly well-equipped. Plenty of room for 11 of us. Everything about the villa has a homely, lived-in feel which made for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the host was fast and easy. Thank you Fernando, we loved it!

Great spot, big house

It was mostly really nice but there were a few weird things, like there was no soap available in any bathrooms and very little warm water. But the house was big and fairly clean, we enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous grounds and large living space

Multi level villa with plenty of space for everyone. We lived outside for the whole week. 1km to fast road everywhere, big supermarkets and few jams to nearest small town. Get a car and go explore!

Spacious Villa with nice views

The villa is clean , well equipped and spacious especially the living areas. The property is however showing its age and could badly do with some general repairs and decoration, the main skylight in the hall leaks and makes the stairs wet and extremely slippery in wet weather . The skylight cover in the second on suite bathroom blew off in high winds and caused water ingress , it was held down with rocks and not properly secured. The dishwasher didn’t work and had to be replaced during our stay , plus the some of the lights don’t work and on inspection the wiring looked dangerous.

Wonderful stay!

We had a lovely week at the property. It is huge, much more space than we were expecting. The kids spent hours exploring the gardens & playing in the pool. Hire car is essential as the villa is very remote but remote was what we were looking for.

Beautiful views but tired property

Overall we had a good stay. The views are stunning, the pool is a good size and the area is great for lounging, and the property is well-located next to supermarkets. Check-in was easy and there is an alarm to set when away from the property. There were some aspects that we didn’t enjoy however: - The kitchen is very cluttered and has a lot of unusable cookware (e.g. all non-stick pans had their coating flaking off). The dishwasher socket wasn’t working during our stay so the suggested solution was to run an extension cable down the back of the wet sink (felt unsafe). - The master bedroom is extremely hot after facing into the sun all day, even with shutters down. There is no A/C or a portable fan and we were very uncomfortable at night. The bedding also smelled sweaty on our arrival. - The bathrooms are very cluttered with sticky, half-used toiletries from previous stays. We felt this made the property feel unclean. - The property felt tired and in need of repair. Many cracks in the walls and tiles, one set of shutters were broken which blocked the view from the living area, many lightbulbs were missing or broken. This property has great potential and would make for a wonderful holiday with some updates and a clear-out.

Magnifique domaine dans un endroit paisible

Magnifique domaine, pas de voisin, tranquille avec vue sur le Teide de Tenerife, entouré de belles montagnes. Très beau jardin et piscine tous, bien entretenues. La maison est confortable et bien équipée, tout y est. Les épiceries (3) sont à plus de 1,5km. Nous avons fait un beau trek en partant de la maison car nous avons emprunté le chemin du réservoir du village en haut de la maison et nous nous sommes retrouvés à travers les montagnes avec vue imprenable sur l'Ile de Tenerife et les montagnes environnantes. Séjour inoubliable, je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner avec ma famille ou amis.

Excellent spacious property with many facilities

Good location on NW side of island with ever changing views from the villa across the sea to Mt Teide, over 10,00 ft, on Teneriffe island. Large main room with upper and lower lounge separated by dining area with enormous round dining table. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Outside: a good sized pool in a beautiful setting, sauna room, small gym , table tennis table and plenty of sun loungers with adequate shade. All you need for an enjoyable holiday. Plenty of walks within an hour's drive, especially near the centre of the island at height of around 6,000ft. Many of these roads can be quite demanding with large number of hairpin bends and often narrow up the extensive convoluted larva valleys. Food shopping easy with 3 large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. Do not expect sandy beaches anywhere near. Highly recommended property It was shame having to leave after 7 glorious days holiday.

Fantastic 2 Week Stay

Booked the villa for our family of 6 and we definitely weren't disappointed. Lovely, clean interior with everything you could possibly need. The pool was absolutely amazing, the kids loved it and weren't ever out of it. Fantastic views of the mountains and the lights of Tenerife on a night. Would definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable stay in beautiful northern Gran Canaria

We loved the house although it was almost too big for us! The view across to Tenerife is spectacular. Facilities are all there as promised. We played a lot of table tennis! Snorkling at Puerto de las Nieves is amazing. Communication with owners was flawless and they were very helpful indeed about arrival and departure.

Enjoyable, Relaxing Holiday

Huge villa with fantastic outdoor space and beautiful mountain and sea views, but it was tricky to find and the access road was in poor repair. The living space was very comfortable and generous and the villa was extremely well equipped. However it could to with a bit of renovation. The pool, being unheated, was bracing at this time of year, but the use of a sauna afterwards was most welcome. Fernando responded quickly and helpfully to all our enquiries prior to our arrival. The area is quiet, but several supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive away. Drives into the nearby mountains afford spectacular scenery and excellent restaurants were found in Sardina del Norte and Agaete. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in relaxing isolation.

Incredible view

We were a group of 6 adults. The house was perfect. We were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and its amazing view, the sauna, the very nice living room, we also had bbq. The sunset from the top terrace was incredible. It was the perfect break we needed. The kitchen was also very large and fully equipped. We hope to come back because we had a great time.

Stunning outdoor area and spacious inside

We (family of four with two teenage daughters and a family friend) had a wonderful time here. The location is perfect - close enough to a good road to make it easily accessible, but very quiet and with stunning views of mountains, sea and Tenerife. The three supermarkets are a 5 min drive away, or a 20 min walk. Lovely walks directly from the property up into the mountains, and we also enjoyed local visits to Puerto Nieves, Agaete and Galdar (including the amazing Cueve Pintada and its archaeological site). The property is wonderful, with lots of beautiful and comfortable outdoor space, although it was a little cool for swimming. The girls loved the outdoor ping pong and indoor table football. All the cacti and other plants in the garden are amazing. Inside is spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit. The bedrooms were reasonably comfortable, and there are plenty of bathrooms (although the hot water - from the solar heater on the roof - took a while to reach some of them). We had a wonderful start to 2020 here, and didn't want to leave!

Excellent family villa. Enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

We had a lovely weeks stay at this villa. The owner met us late at night and we followed her to the villa in our car, which was down a small track. She made us very welcome and showed us round the villa and told us of nearby attractions and things to do with the children. The villa has everything you need for the week and is ideal for families. We particularly enjoyed the fact it was so spacious and peaceful and private. The boys loved the pool and diving board to jump into. We enjoyed the sauna and cross trainer and the fact we could view the pool from most areas of the villa, master bedroom, lounge, dining room etc. There are several large supermarkets within minutes of the villa. There are limited places to eat out within walking distance to the villa but this didn’t bother us as we were happy to cook ourselves and eat at the villa with the children and enjoy watching the sunsets. We visited the nearby towns and ate out there on occasions. The villa was very peaceful and we would visit again. Thank you.

Beautiful house and garden with all necessary utilities

we loved staying at the house! Its big, has everything a family with children need and has an amazing outside area and view. Fernando was great with assisting us and answer all our questions. There was a problem with water spilling out from the dishwasher and onto the floor. And also the house is very cold to live in i january. But Fernando provided us with lots of heaters so we didnt freeze. All in all a great experience

Well equipped lovely house

We very much enjoyed our stay at the house outside Galdar. We were 9 adults and the house worked very well for that amount of people. The living room had several sofas, with a place for all of us. The house was very well equipped, with everything we needed. The garden is lovely with both sun and shadow.We had not expected the swimming pool to be warm. it was really cold as there is no cover during the night and no heating device. New Year was memorable from the top of the house where we saw the fire works around us, all the stars well visible and Tenerife blinking across the sea.
