Quiet lake getaway
Enjoyed the seclusion and amount of space of this property but the drive to town was long and winding. Kitchen utensils and pans to cook with were old and sketchy to cook with. Silverware and knives were significantly lacking. Dirty bowls with dried food on them in the cabinet so I had to wash dishes in the middle of cooking. No kettle that was listed as the house having on website. Kitchen faucet needs repaired. Low water pressure in the house. No dish soap provided good thing I travel with a bottle just in case. The internet was spotty and weak to the point of constant buffering throughout our stay. My hot spot had better internet connection and speed. Beds were old and not comfortable. My father had a board poking him and I had two boards fall off the bottom of my bed during the night when turning over. Towels for bathing were old and not enough for everyone to use. Thank goodness I always bring my own towels. The washer and dryer did work and some soap provided. Hot tub was nice and clean, but Only two tablets for the hot tub were provided for a weeks stay and one tablet was needed after each use so we only got to use it twice after finally locating the tabs. Front porch swing had lots of spiders and ticks on it. Trash receptacle was packed and animals had ripped the trash apart that we had to pick up. Must take your own heavy duty trash bags!!!
