I blame much of the problem on Hotels.com for doing a bait and switch. We thought we were making a reservation for the Best Western thinking that only the name had changed. When we arrived we found that we were booked in a separate, neglected, run down building behind the Best Western. The building and the furnishings were filthy, looked abandoned it smelled like mildew. There was no elevator. We were very disappointed
I had an awefuk experian cc e i got the first room and was chilling on da bed when all a suddin a bug cime crawling out the pillow case and i recorded it said some thing to staff and manager they gave me no compesation just moved me to a dif room i woke up ta day and my legs are coverd in bug biggts and itching like crazy i was told to ithed pay for another night check ourt or find a new hotel not verry clean or responsibile for management not to be giving or offer a refund or a free stay in my opinion so dont think imma stay at b.w in the galesbugmrg area
I booked a room for the first night and prepaid. When i checked in and went to my room the keys did not work. After about 30 minutes of going to desk and the the desk clerk coming to attempt to open the door we finally got moved to.anothet room. The room was nice enough. The patio was nice but the neighborung room guests had left a big mess outside from barbecuing. Meat packages, aluminum foil etc..
The next day i wanted to rebook a room. But wanted to switch to a cheaper choice. I booked and paid for it. Realized the wrong dates were booked. I went to the desk where i spoke to the owner to see if i could just switch the days around. He tells me no. I was on a budget sonmy choices were limited . If i cancelled then it would take a week to refund my money. I didnt have enough to pay for another room. I asked if the money i had already paid could be tranfwrred over towards the nicer room instsyed in the first night. Im told no. Im also told that it would be $40 extra for a late checkout or $20 extra for an early check in. Even though i was already a guest in the hotel. At the end if all this i ended up paying $110 for an old ran down room without working air. I asked the manager to please waive the $20 early check in as that was all the money i had left. I needed to eat. He refused. I would never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was a soap dispenser, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers but all were empty. There were coffee cups in the room but no coffee machine. The couch had a dirty pull-out bed. The staff was nice, you have to check in in the Best Western, but you don't get the breakfast they serve.
