Staying at this hotel is an experience. My daughters absolutely love it. There are guests from all over the country and even all over the world. There is a lot of history in this hotel. The only negative that I can say is the rooms are extremely hot in the winter time. The heat was turned off and the room temperature still climbed above seventy five. I had to open a balcony door just to get it to where I wasn't roasting.

Secured access to 2nd floor by a coded door was ensuring. The room was great, warm & Route 66 theme. The hotel lobby was my favorite because of the structure and designs. We enjoyed our stay.

El rancho is a most stop on the old RT 66 _ and a history lesson in western civilization and Hollywood entertainers - bar always hopping with locals - don't let the small rooms fool you - they're very classy - great onsite restaurant with local flavor -recommend

Room was spacious and very nicely appointed with beautiful artwork of the time. Although we were there in the winter, the gardens and other sitting areas were beautiful. Would love to come back when it’s warmer weather.

The hotel is historic and i stayed in the annex building that had been renovated recently. It was querky and comfortable. It was done in a route 66 vibe and well done! I had never stayed in a room that had a caddy comining out of the wall before! I also never had a vintage working payphone or Victrola in my room before.

I don’t have any bad memories of this hotel. Taking the elevator is the number one must-try experience, and the omelets are excellent. Although the building is old, it is well maintained and has a charming analog feel.

The room was clean & bed very comfortable, now I stayed at the main bldg. and the rooms are extremely small with an even smaller bathroom with a large shower lol. But this place has everything, food, drink, history! The ambiance is the coup de grace !
