Perfect place for family stay. Kid books were a great touch. Super responsive to questions. Loved view. Walk to beach was a little difficult due to disability. Definitely would book again.

Perfect place to view the Gulf and close enough to see the sunrise every morning on the beach. We encountered a few glitches, but either Mary Alice or Linda were very prompt in meeting our needs. The accommodation was spacious and we were supplied with all the necessities we needed for our stay. We appreciated the fact that there were few visitors so we were able to enjoy peace and quiet during our visit. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Spacious condo with well stocked kitchen and comfy beds.

Place was clean and pics accurately represented the property. Had a little trouble checking in but management was super responsive and was quickly fixed. Loved having my decent cookware to cook with! The condo is about 30 min from any major supermarket so plan accordingly. Most restaurants were a distance too. But again when you have a properly stocked cookware and plates etc. it didn’t matter, and we enjoyed our family meals. We didn’t use the pool or the other amenities just pretty much beached it. But waters were calm and all the kids ranging from 3yrs to 14 yrs were fully entertained. My son did a lot of surf fishing and my daughter swam or played on the beach. The condo was great in that we were not packed in like sardines which was perfect as it was my family and my brother in law’s family. The three full baths were great when coming off the beach for the day. Beds were actually pretty comfy. The trash shoot and elevator were nice in that you didn’t have to lug the trash down or all of our stuff up the stairs. Each building had a place to wash off sand or salt. It was a great place to just have a lowkey vacation or getaway.

Most enjoyable visit ever!

We’ve been to Pointe West 7 times now and this condo was by far the most enjoyable one we’ve had. More space than we could imagine. The host of this unit made you feel at home as soon as you walk in. When we visit again, it will only be with MaryAlice.

Fabulous stay with family

This is our second year in a row for a family vacation. Everyone loves it. The condo feels like home the second we walk in. Linda and MaryAlice respond so quickly to any questions. They made our stay completely carefree. We look forward to returning next year.

Spring Break Family Vacation

The location was great! Many times when you stay at a location, they say they are well stocked with your household items-but you would be disappointed because it really wasn’t equipped. This location had everything we needed!! They even supplied a gift basket with extras!! Clean!! Spacious!! And management attentive to our needs. Only suggestion- we did have a storm and lost power for a brief time- could not find flash light or candles- just in case. Thank you!’ Would definitely stay again! Oh loved heated pool!!

Pointe West Get Away

Our family truly enjoyed the property and amenities of Pointe West. The condo is beautiful and well taken care of, the property managers were quick to reply and left us a lovely basket of necessities. This location is removed from Galveston proper about 25 minutes and it is so peaceful during the week. We enjoyed eating at a local restaurant and had the best pina colada in Galveston at the Sand Bar & restaurant. Highly recommend!

Lovely Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a family vacation- 3 generations. The condo was spacious, comfortable, and very clean with easy access to the beach. Linda and MaryAlice made check-in and check-out so easy. Communication was great, they respond immediately if you have a question-very attentive. We look forward to returning next year.

Really enjoyed our stay. Property managers communicated well. The place was clean and well stocked. Only complaint would be the patio furniture being so low to the ground. Not comfortable at all and hard to get in and out of. But everything else was amazing! Thank you.

Beautiful Condo

This was a comfortable rental with modern furniture and decorations. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was perfect for an extended family holiday vacation. Will definitely be back.

Return to Resting Beach Face!

Our second stay at Resting Beach Face this year! We enjoyed our first stay in March 2022, so we decided to return to this same condo for a long weekend in October. As I wrote in my first review, this condo is perfect for our family of 5 because it’s especially toddler / kid friendly. Lots of toys, books, games, and gear to ensure your little ones sleep soundly (like bed bumpers and room darkening shade). The kitchen also has children’s dishes, cups, and cutlery in addition to the regular dishes, glassware and cutlery. We appreciate how well stocked and equipped this condo is, requiring us to bring only clothes, beach towels, toiletries, and food. My first review includes more details about the condo and the resort. We hope to return again someday, so we hope that the owner’s will add a blender to the kitchen. Would be great to add an outdoor dining table and cushions for the outdoor chairs to improve the outdoor space. A few things you should bring - aluminum foil, conditioner ( shampoo provided, but not conditioner), your own Clorox wipes. Thank you to the owners for sharing their happy place with us again!

Great spot!

We had a great trip. The condo was beautiful, modern, and clean. Great view of the ocean from the patio. Plenty of space for four adults and four young kids. Beach access was close and both pools were a quick cart ride away.

By far the best!

We have stayed at a lot of condos as a family but this was by far the best one! I hate sleeping in other beds besides my own but I do it on vacation reluctantly. I didn’t have to be reluctant here- everything was so clean and comfy and made me feel like home. The layout was perfect. The view was amazing. The walk to the beach with small children and lots of stairs was difficult at times (there is a ramp if you need it by the Beach Club). Access to the Beach Club was great when the waves were too choppy for the kids. We never made our way to the other side to enjoy the amenities over there but next time we will. The condo was stocked with plenty of necessities which we appreciated. Thank you thank you thank you! We will def save this location as a favorite for when we decide to return!

Clean and pretty!

We really enjoyed our stay. The art/decor was slick and not the typical cheesy beach style. We didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything accept a few containers for leftovers. The condo was so clean! You’ll need beach towels, soap for little ones (we always forget that), and your own shampoo, etc. It was kid friendly so I never felt like they were going to break something. The Nest settings may need to be adjusted. We woke in the morning to settings below 70 and it was chilly! The proximity to the beach was perfect.
