Quiet, affordable, fun!
Host Darcy created a really fun vibe in this little house and was available and attentive during our visit.
The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was very nice and stocked with basics including a full spice rack, foil, saran, and baggies. For kitchen I would suggest adding one very large pot to use with the amazing gas stove (had to use two pots to boil spaghetti for 8), a bigger cutting board, and kitchen towels. We ran out of toilet paper, and shower/hair towels so I suggest a few more of those as well. Thank you for providing beach towels! King and Queen beds were comfy. Twin bunks you can feel the bars under the mattress but kids didn't care.
We were looking forward to using pool and game room but conditions did not work out. Pool was cloudy (shaded with trees which is nice but probably makes it harder to keep sparkling). Game room is an awesome little space but no a/c and it was really hot during our visit in July. We would have been in there a bunch in cooler weather.
I had planned to rent a golf cart to get into town but it is a bit too far for that, just fyi.
Overall, this is a great home base and we would book again.
