The property was just as pictured and was enjoyable. My favorite was the patio - great views and loved the Adirondack chairs/gliders. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect place to re-charge and finish out the year strong.

The condo was spacious and clean, the proximity to the beach and pool was perfect for our trip. The check in and check out process was easy. The kitchen offered everythng we needed and communication with management was quick. The only issue was the email for receiving the pool wristbands came the morning after I checked in, so we missed a night at the pool. I would definitely book again!!!

The property if gorgeous. The elevator worked during our stay. My only complaint is that the lazy river and heated pool are 1/2 mile walk or you can take the golf carts.

The place is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Several teflon pans are scratched and need replaced so just letting the owners know. But other than that everything was perfect. Already planning to come back next year. The ocean view from the patio. Was a bonus

This was such a great place to stay on our trip-- the house had everything we needed and was perfectly located. The only thing that could have made the stay better would be less mosquitoes, but other than that everything was amazing.

Great Family friendly resort

This top floor 3/2 was perfect for our family. Location is very close to the main pool/beach club. We found the walk to the beach to be a bit much for the younger kids and ended up driving east a few miles to drive into the beach.

Worst stay at Pointe West

This is the 4th year in a row that I have stayed at Pointe West. This was our least favorite property that we've stayed in. The positive, is the location, which is close to the Beach Club. The unit was clean but needs some maintenance and refreshing of kitchen supplies. One amenity we loved about this unit is the grill on the deck. Unfortunately, it has not been cleaned in forever and the cleaning brush they had was unusable. The main issue was the AC. When we arrived the unit was 90 degrees. We did call and they were responsive the first day. Someone came out but not till 6:30 so we were unable to have dinner in the unit. I was told it was fixed but the unit didn't cool down until 4 am. My kids room was so unbearable the first night they had to sleep in my room. We had issues with the AC the rest of the trip with us coming back in the afternoon to a unit that was 80 degrees and it always taking until way after midnight to start getting down to a reasonable temperature. After the first day the local contact didn't even reply to my texts and the main guest services just stated a maintenance request was put in. It put a damper on our trip as I was concerned about the AC and everyone being able to sleep at night the whole time. We had the option of getting a late check-out at 2 pm, which we did. We got to the unit about 1:15 to change and get our belongings to find out the code was changed and we were therefore locked out. It took 25 minutes to finally get in.

Galveston condo

We picked this condo because of the 2 king beds. The complex is beautiful.. We were in Galveston because we had a family member in the hospital and we have discovered renting a condo for a week is much better than a hotel rooms. we would rent again if needed.

Nice place for a weekend at the beach

The good: - Quiet location - Great view from lovely porch - Great beach access - Comfortable beds - 2 kings! - Well equipped kitchen - Good wifi - Comfortable furniture - Excellent coffee shop 12 min away The bad: - Cleaning left a bit to be desired - Property is a good 30 miles from Galveston proper, which might be an issue for some or a benefit to others. Overall I would recommend the property as very good for 2 couples

Beautiful property

This property is beautiful and clean and safe. You need to know it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator. Hopefully it will be fixed soon but until then it’s very difficult to navigate luggage.

Great condo

We enjoyed the condo. It was beautifully decorated and was the perfect size. The lady at the check desk was not a help at all. Told us nothing about the beach club. We had to even ask her where our building was located.

Family beach weekend

My boyfriend and i stayed in this same unit in April with friends. We decided to book it for a family trip. Overall it was very good however the unit was not as clean as before and was missing essental items like hand soap.

Great location, but lacking the little touches

Good location. Disappointed the pool bar and restaurant were under construction. This specific rental did not provide the typical travel shampoo etc. It was also lacking in things like baggies, Kleenex/tissue, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil etc. The dishwasher and washing machine pods were parceled out (just 2) and only 1 additional roll of toilet paper. There wasn't a key to the storage facility either where there was supposedly a wagon to use fir the beach.

Lack of communication

There was an issue with the communication with vacasa to the resort. The resort did not know we were coming and the residence was not clean when we showed up. There was trash on the deck and dirty towels in the washer. The floors had not been cleaned either. The resort sent someone right away to clean but it was a downer. Other than that, The residence was nice. The resort pools and hot tubs did not disappoint and the beach was just a short walk away. For a family of 5, we had plenty of space. The deck off the back is a great place to curl up with a book and see and listen to the waves.
