Beautiful house very good for big families with lots of kids from young adults to teen to little ones, there’s something for everyone in and out of the house. The backyard is awesome for games and s’mores and the access to the ideal beach resort was a huge plus and made our stay even more fun! Host was very good too and accessible. Definitely recommends this place. Thank you!

Ideal Home for a Large Family

This very clean home has everything desired for a large family with all age ranges. The teenagers loved the hot tub, outdoor games, plus the family room with the ping pong table, arcades, and large TV. They all fought over the huge bean bag chair! The toddlers spent hours on the swing set and imagining all sorts of adventures in the boat. There was plenty of room for everyone to eat in the kitchen and on the large covered deck. The kitchen had the best stocked pantry of any place we have stayed. It was very convenient to drive back and forth to Ideal Beach which was a big plus to have that access. We all loved relaxing in the swings and watching the full moon come up over the mountain. Everyone wants to come back again! Thank you for letting us enjoy your perfect home.

Family get away

Everything went good. First night power outage with construction. Nothing owners and management could do. Some of the activities like corn hole were missing all the bags my kids were really bummed, the video game equipment was broken on one side. But the house was very nice clean and well kept. Our door areas were very nice and clean we would 100% book again.

Beautiful house with great set up

Beautiful new house that was very modern and spacious. Wish it had a little more character or quirky touches. Hot tub was great. Bedding was nice and comfy and had plenty of it for our large group. Disappointed there wasn’t a keurig for my pods. Had to go out and buy coffee and then the coffee pot was completely covered in some very old mold. We tried to clean it but still didn’t feel comfortable using it. Also got the rice cooker filled up and then realized there was no power cord for it.

Labor Day tradition

Loved the hot tub. Loved convenience of the house. Kitchen utensils were great. Rec room hide a beds were great. Bunk beds were a bit small for us, otherwise good. We brought old favorite movies to play, but were not aware no DVD player was available. Fortunately one of our family could stream movies We loved the large family dining table. We used it for meals and activities. View was great.

Great family getaway

This space was perfect for our family of adult children and their spouses and kids. Having access to Ideal Beach Resort was a nice bonus. The hot tub needed to be cleaned, so we didn’t use it as much as we had hoped. But everything else was wonderful!

Beautiful Views! Gorgeous Home!!

We LOVED this house. They do not give enough credit to the unobstructed views of Bear Lake. There is a golf course right below the home so there are no homes in view between this house and the lake. The house is nicely furnished. Kids had a blast in the bunk room. Plenty of driveway and garage space for 2 boats and other cars. Eating dinner on the patio and playing cards on the deck watching the sunset was so magical and a highlight. We really enjoyed access to Ideal Beach, lots of fun activities! New linens and towels. Very clean and well taken care of. Definitely one of our favorite Bear Lake houses we’ve ever rented over 20 years coming.

Such an enjoyable place to stay in Bear Lake

We really enjoyed our family reunion while staying at Hooks Hideaway. It being connected to Ideal Beach Resort was a bonus and we went everyday. Great location, beautiful views and a great place to stay. We did have issues with the AC unit and weren’t able to use it 4 out of the 5 days we stayed. It kept freezing up even when we were vigilant in keeping windows and doors closed. It was easier to keep it off and open windows and doors to stay cool at night. Hopefully that can get fixed. It’s our only complaint with this house.

Family Reunion Success!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Hook’s Hideaway. My siblings kept telling me what a good find this place was for our family. There was adequate seating for dinners and it was so nice to have two living areas. The swings next to the hot tub were a huge hit! In fact, two of my siblings ended up buying some for their own homes because they loved them so much! Having access to Ideal Beach provided us with all the activities and a side of nostalgia. A family reunion success!

Gorgeous Bear Lake Home!

We had the best time staying at this property! It’s less than 5 minutes downtown or to the beach. The home is brand new and very beautifully decorated and comfortable! It had everything we could need… crockpot, air fryer, rice cooker, waffle iron, etc. It even had a cupboard stocked with basic spices, oil, etc. The home slept up to 23 people very comfortably. It had the most gorgeous views of the golf course and Bear lake! It had a huge covered deck with a bbq grill, multiple tables for seating. Below the deck there were comfortable sky chairs hung for lounging hammock style and taking in the view. There was also a new hot tub, which was a lot of fun! There were two big family rooms which both had ample seating and big tvs. Some of the bedrooms had tvs too. There was a ping pong table and a game closet stocked with some games, books and kids movies. The home had fast internet and we were easily able to do some work on our laptops as well as stream movies through our apps and cast them to the smart TVs. The home has a big two car garage which also had 4 sets of golf clubs available for use. Additionally, the home has a pass to Ideal Beach included. You get free beach access and also the use of the many amenities at Ideal beach resort. There is also a rental company right on the beach where you can rent boats, jet skis. We played pickleball, ate delicious food, and biked around garden city. It’s a great place and location! Would definitely stay there again!

Great place with amazing views

This was a great place. It is really close to Bear Lake. It was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kids had a blast in the bunk room. The deck was amazing. I could sit out there all day. The TVs were all set up so you can stream a movie or show. We plan on coming back to this place with our friends once the hot tub is put in. The hosts were very quick to get back to us as well. Highly recommend!

Large home with a beautiful view!

Nice house with a nice view! Slept everyone comfortably. Well stocked with everything we needed. Not a lot of yard space for the kids to play. The house, which has all vinyl type wood flooring , made it echo quite a bit and seemed quite noisy with a lot of people. Overall a very nice place that our family enjoyed staying. Pepperty manager was very friendly and easy to work with! Would stay again!
