First time staying here and it was great. Desk staff were excellent, and very friendly. Room was very clean spacious. Stayed 2 nights and will definitely be staying here again. Even got to see a bear behind the hotel on the creek bank. Highly recommend to anyone

Older property but good condition, great service

This property is a bit worn and the carpet could stand to be replaced. However, the property is reasonably well maintained and clean. I think the pool area is the highlight of the property and it is in exceptionally good condition and immaculately clean if you go to bed early, try to avoid booking a room in the pool area. It is quite noisy until 10 PM when it closes. 10 minute or less walk to the strip Wi-Fi and television were decent. The bed was very firm, but for a lot of people that may be a good thing. Service was absolutely outstanding from everyone I encountered from the front desk check-in to the housekeeping staff to the Maintenance. The breakfast buffet is very lackluster. I had to find the cashier and no one was really attending to the buffet and the food was nothing more really than a fancy continental breakfast at buffet prices. I would definitely return here.

Great for the price

This was a great hotel for what we paid. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was great, the staff was friendly and everything was clean. The restaurant could have had better staff and the food was not that great. Overall we where happy with our stay.

Good Location, Just Okay Hotel

The exterior and lobby of Glenstone Lodge are very inviting and give the impression of a higher-end stay. Unfortunately, the room itself didn’t quite live up to that first impression. The space felt smaller than expected, and the bathroom was especially cramped with no exhaust fan. On top of that, the toilet kept making noise throughout the night due to water pressure—thankfully, no leaks, but still a disturbance. Housekeeping was hit-or-miss, as the room was not cleaned thoroughly each day. While the lodge is classified as a four-star property, I would personally rate it closer to three stars. For the price I paid, the overall quality didn’t match my expectations. That said, the location is definitely a plus—it’s within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg, which was very convenient for exploring the area. I just wish the accommodations had been more comfortable and reflective of the price point.

The indoor pool is excellent although aging. REALLY wish the indoor pool hours were 24 hours. Several nights I we got back to Glenstone late and were not able to use the pool. Will stay again. Staff (was it Nick) at the front desk was very nice and accommodating.

The hotel is older, and shows it's age in some areas, but is still clean and comfortable. In a good location, within walking distance to the strip. There is also a trolly stop right out front if you don't feel like walking.
