This house was everything our family needed on paper. I was so excited about our stay! Upon arrival things werenât exactly as I was expecting! I want to start with how beautiful the home is:The kitchen is amazing and well stocked with everything you need (there are no spices to be found- bring what you need.)The listing describes the home as having 2 king bedrooms, there is only 1. No problem, we didnât really need the second. The listing also described the âkids quartersâ as being in the basement. In the Midwest, a basement is accessible through the home. That is not the case here, in order to access the kids quarters you have to walk across the porch, down the steps, across the driveway, and through a separate entrance. Our children range in age from 5-8, so this was not an ideal set up, especially since the check in instructions come with what to do when a bear is near! We did in fact see themThe kids area was listed as being 2 queen bunk beds and 2 twin beds. There were 2 sets of top and bottom queen bunks-very comfortable. There were no twin beds. The pool is private to the subdivision not to the house, which I was expecting. I was very disappointed about this. There was no hand soap in the main floor bath, I had to ask for additional dishwasher pods. Sabrina was very responsive about everything that we needed.There was a pest problem which she addressed immediately with an exterminator. Her quick action is the only saving grace from a lesser rating.
