The light switches did not work, and two lamps did not work. The sink in one bathroom and the shower in the other bathroom did not drain well and would fill with water. However, the beds were extremely comfortable and we had what we needed for a short stay. Great location close to town and short walk from parking lot.

Our Bear Cabin rental was very nice. It was safe - the hosts communicated everything via email and through a neatly organized binder in the cabin. The instructions were easy to understand and the hosts prepared it just as described. My husband, children, and mother were able to relax and it felt like home for our first ever family trip to Gatlinburg. We didn't want to leave and we're already planning our next trip!

Gatlinburg Memorial Day 2025

One towel per person for a 5 day stay. Shower stalls overflow and door jams rotting. Kitchen very small poorly equipped. No ice maker only 2 ice trays. Property misnamed extremely hard to find. Very limited parking places on a steep incline. Entry to building is small, dirty, inconvenient, worn out, unkept. Blinds in master missing slats. Picture online very deceptive. Will never stay there again.

Suited our needs

We booked this place last minute. We actually stayed in this building last year, and didn’t enjoy it. The room this year was nicer, but still on the small side. It’s within walking distance from town, but it’s not an easy walk. Condo is kinda small and cramped. Elevator needs a service. Room was nice enough, but no cable on 2 of the 3 tv’s. Sleeper sofa was better than normal, but still almost not worth sleeping on, except for kids. If you have small kids, they will not want to make the walk to and from town.

Overall Happy with Maple Trails

The 2 bedroom condo was very clean and spacious. Love the waterfall shower. It was a nice plus. Parking is not so great. There is not really a solution, just know that if you arrive late, you will need to figure out where you are going to park. The strip is a little far, so you can not just stay parked and walk.

Perfect space and location!

Great Stay !

Had a great stay, very cozy place, convenient. Just few mins walk to the downtown area with all the attractions & restaurants. Easy access to walking trails. Condo was clean, & comfortable for family of 4. Nice balcony / porch, but does not have a view, seems to have been blocked by recent construction. Will stay again.

Nothing fancy but area seemed safe and in walking distance of strip. We were there for 3 nights, would have been problematic if we had stayed longer. There was ONE TRASH BAG, no dish towel or dish cloth in kitchen. Laundry facility was locked and we weren't provided the code

Clean and Neat with short walk to downtown but minimal view

Older property whose view is now being blocked by newer construction. Short walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The condo itself was clean and neat with a nice balcony but whose only view were the backside of new construction.

First Mt. Trip as a Family

The rental process was very easy. The property management company was very easy to deal with. They were 30 min late sending us check-in codes. The showers need to be fixed, the water does not drain out fast enough and the shower pans fill with water. I would definitely look into another cleaning company because they do a poor job now. The floors were very dirty. Black sock bottoms happen very quickly. The comforter on the beds needed to be washed. The condo itself was wonderful. The location was nice. It’s a little far to walk to the strip daily but we parked in the AnnaKeesta parking lot daily which is located at the corner on the strip. The two bedrooms with the living area and kitchen area are perfect for a family. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook during your visit. We enjoyed our stay here just wish the beds were more comfortable and the place was a little cleaner.

Great location

Don’t let the outside of the complex fool you, this condo is updated and very comfortable. Perfect walking distance to the Parkway and attractions. The only problem we had was in trying to park in the tiny parking lot.
