The only issue we had on our stay was trying to find the cabin. Google GPS isn't the best at times but our son had his iphone which took us straight to the cabin. I didn't expect such an amazing view in the mornings an evenings. I would enjoy another stay at this cabin at a later date. Thank you to the management for staying in contact an ensuring that we managed to arrive at the property with our trust in our google maps that failed us this time. All in all, it was a beautiful cabin with the most amazing view and the beds were very comfortable.
The views are great! The roads to reach the cabin were quite nerve racking! We enjoyed the stay, the cabin is laid out nicely. We enjoyed the hot tub (it was a good temp for the hot weather), the pool table, the deck, the kitchen. The upstairs bathroom shower was wonderful with the 2 shower heads. Did not like the hot tub hours (had to be out by 10 pm? As long as people are quiet for the neighbors?? People looking at this cabin should know that the drive from the main road up the mountain to it takes 13 minutes though it is only 3 miles due to the many curves, the narrowness of the road and the serious steep grade. And why was the address so secret? The VRBO app was a bit tricky to use as well.
The views! STUNNING! We loved the screened in porch. The drive up is well worth it! Kitchen is great, we had everything we needed, and we cooked a lot. We loved the views from the hot tub too.
Family of 4 with two teens stayed for 5 days this summer and really enjoyed the house. I picked it specifically for the view from the porch so i could enjoy coffee/wine with a book.My husband loved it because of the hot tub. Kids loved it because they each got their own room and had their space. Location is gorgeous. Up steep roads and we saw a bear which was so fun! There are little convenience/grocery stores down the mountain for quick necessities. Farther into Gatlinburg about 25 minites away there is a full sized grocery called Food City. We needed that one for gluten free allergy shopping. Easy access to Gatlinburg but away from the crazy of Gatlinburg. Easy access to lots of hiking. Property is exactly as described and as pictured. Would stay again.
We spent five nights here in June 2025. It was in a beautiful area about 25 minutes from Gatlinburg shopping/restaurant area. This house is literally at the top of the mountain! The house was clean, the beds and couches were comfortable. The pillows and linens were very nice quality. There were even towels for the hot tub. It fit our family of five adult sized people very nicely. It had the normal less-than-stellar rental house quality kitchen knives and pots/pans, but there was enough to cook in the kitchen. There was only one dish towel, which was a pain. We really enjoyed the hot tub with the view. The really only con (and why I took off a star) was the leak in the ceiling of the master bedroom. It was dripping on the floor when we arrived. I contacted the agent/owner/management immediately and was told they would get back to me. We put down a towel. I received a text the next day that a repairman was on his way over, but he never showed. I texted them the a few days later and said we never saw him. They said they were working on it. Long story short: no one came out to look at it nor fix it. It didn't really affect our stay much because it was a small drip, but we had to avoid walking in that spot and leave a damp towel on the floor the whole time. Overall, it's a great place to stay in the area if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful house.
We had an amazing time. The location couldnât have been better and the people we met by the pool were super nice. The view at night with the stars was literally out of this world, we just stood on the deck all night and looked up !
Pleasant cabin in a serene location, but the non-working microwave, fireplace, and thermostat impacted comfort. With these fixes, it'd be ideal for a cozy retreat.
What a gem! Breath-taking views, secluded location, and just a stone-throw from the national park! The house is comfortable, modern, clean, and cozy. All the logistics and communications with the host were smooth and super-efficient. Highly recommend this place!Andrey
This is a beautiful home in a picturesque mountain top setting. There was plenty of room for our family and the home had all we needed to make it a relaxing stay. A nice, easy drive into Gatlinburg for days spent out and about. Upon arrival for checkin, we were met by a repairman fixing a water pump leak he assured us wouldnât affect our stay. He also mentioned the HVAC system being shut off and that he wasnât sure how we would turn it on without the owners coming to do so. This made us a little uneasy during the checkin process, honestly. We came to realize the thermostat upstairs worked fine and kept the upstairs at a very comfortable temperature. Unfortunately the downstairs thermostat was not functioning which left the main level (where the kids all slept) rather cold during the chilly nights. I let the owner know and he said he would get back to me about it, but never did. After three nights sleeping in sweats and extra blankets, we decided to head home a day early. It was quite an unfortunate part of our stay. We were not offered even a partial refund which was also disappointing since it was clearly an issue the repairman knew about which makes me wonder how long the owners knew about it. Either way, I believed we were paying to stay in a house with a functioning HVAC system and that clearly wasnât the case. Again, beautiful home and gorgeous propertyâŠour stay ended up feeling just âokayâ with the uncomfortable cold with no remedy.
We really loved our stay at the cabin. Everything was beautiful and clean. The only thing was the ladybugs but besides that it was perfect. Especially the view 10/10!!
