My family and I had an awesome time in Gatlinburg, we really enjoyed our stay at the Queens cabin, and would definitely stay there again. It had everything we needed, was really, and we really enjoyed the game room and hot tub as well.
The cabin was just as described, close to downtown Gatlinburg and in a nice area of other cabins. We had an issue with fridge on the last night but communication with the management company was good. Other than that, the cabin was great and we enjoyed our stay!
Stayed 5 days in August with friends. Chose this cabin for the game room...just in case it rained during our stay we would have fun things to do with the 17 year old with us. The spaciousness of the cabin was great for convenience and privacy as we as we all had our own bed/bath on our own level. The kitchen was fine in terms of utensils/dishes, etc. but because this rental is not owner operated it doesn't have basic things like salt/pepper, etc. that you normally find in a VRBO. Not a huge deal...but if you are flying in from somewhere you will need to buy the basics to cook some meals in the cabin. Also know that there is only a charcoal grill. That was a little ambiguous in the description. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. The whole cabin could have been a bit cleaner...especially tub/showers. The beds/bedding not an issue. Clean and comfortable. The bed on the main level, however, needs to have the frame replaced as it was really noisy. We could hear it on the upper floor. The proximity to town was perfect. Far enough out to feel like you're in the woods but close enough to park to get the trolley to take you into town (which I would highly recommend as parking is expensive in town). All in all...a great cabin in a great location that's perfect for a larger group that has kids/teens.
Compared to other cabins we have stayed at. This one was average.
2 sinks had slow drains. The instructions for the hot tub regarding adding tablets was unclear.. there was not any tablets to put in the hot tub. The furniture is dated. No cushion to the couch we sat on. Pans were nonstick with no nonstick surface. Thereâs no light or exhaust fan above the stove for cooking.
Other than that, we enjoyed seeing the mountains , hiking on the trails and the attractions.
Price was high for the cabin we stayed in.
The property is great and in really good location, but needs attention to some details. Was not very clean (quite a bit of debris around premises outside, carpet leading downstairs and in the master bedroom were very dirty), drains in bathrooms very slow to drain, televisions were not very user friendly( could not get the one downstairs to work). Parking spaces were not very clear as to which one to use. Neighboring cabin guest took our spot when they arrived when we were gone and so we had to use the other side and thankfully that was no issue with that guest. All in all though the property was great and would use it again.
We enjoyed the stay at Queen's Log Cabin. The gaming room was a big hit with plenty to do for everyone. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of exploring too.
