Cute and cozy, felt as if you were in a cabin. Loved the little kitchen so you didn't have to eat out for meals. Very pleased overall. Definitely will consider again. Host was very helpful in everyway.
Loved the location and historical feel of the property. We liked the fact we were able to walk to the Little River Pub and Deli where the food was really good. Highly recommend the Bryson Sandwich. We enjoyed shopping at the Apple Valley Store and the Cades Cove Winery. Pigeon Forge was only a 30 minute drive, but we preferred the more peaceful and less hectic location in Townsend. I was originally concerned about the number of stairs, but once we were settled in loved the apartment and view from the deck. The host was very helpful especially in giving directions and tips about the cell phone service.
The first thing that grabbed our attention was the beautiful view. The well kept yard with firepit was inviting and the river was beautidul. Our unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
Me and my husband stayed here and loved it, the rooms were beautifully decorated very rustic. You are right on the water, it was very quiet despite being right off the rd, we wound up extending our stay by a couple of days ans Mrs Wendy was very accommodating and very sweet, we will definitely book with her again and would recommend anyone to book with her
We really enjoyed the property. A ground level was not available when I booked. The only concern that I have is that the stair treads were loose on the 1st level. The other stairs were quite steep. You may need to redo the grade of the stairs when able as it was difficult for my elderly parents to climb.
Cute place w view of the river. Comfortable.
Townsend is a lovely walkable town on the " Peaceful Side" of the park.
Fantastic 4th of July fireworks!
Perfect location to access the National Park and come home to your own place w great AC.
We are enjoyed our stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busy side of the mountains. After hiking every day, we enjoyed relaxing on the porch and listening to the sounds of the river.
We enjoying this little nugget of a place. Located directly on the Little River, we sat on the porch with a blanket most of our first morning listening to the river and the rain. If relaxation is what you are looking for, this is the place for you...the perfect opposite to the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. Don't forget to visit the Little River Pub & Deli next door for some seriously good sandwiches and a great assortment of local beers.
