The Hotel was as expected the room and breakfast etcetera wer as described a great position within a short walk to all of the sights. Unfortunately it is advertised as having a bar but this closed early if it even opened at all and the lounge area didn’t open at all some nights also we went back one night to have a drink before retiring to bed and was told that the bar was closed due to a private party for outside people who were not residents and that it was closed to residents which I find totally unacceptable and the staff were quite rude when we said that the hotel is advertised as having a bar for hotel residents please make potential guests aware that some of the amenities ie the lounge/ bar are not necessarily available we would not have booked this hotel if we had known this and I also think the staff take it upon themselves to open and shut when they like and if they can be bothered. Unfortunately there wasn’t a manager on over the weekend for us to make a complaint to.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hanza Hotel :) The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the hotel itself had a lovely, old world feel to it. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of cereals, yoghurts, different types of bread, and spreads. There was also home made cake every morning. The staff was friendly and glad to be of assistance if we had questions. I had my birthday when we were staying, and they gave me a card and a pressie :) The Spa was great too :)

Very clean overall (despite finding a discarded cigarette but in our room on arrival) and pleasant hotel in the prefect location. Please note it can get noisy due to location so keep windows shut at night.

Fantastic hotel in a superb location, walkable to all the sights and museums. We had a room overlooking the river, with beautiful views over the city, and it was quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Really good hotel that really could be fantastic with a few touches. USB and or extra sockets in room perhaps a refresh of the rooms. The Spa is extra cost including sauna! I don’t know why but uber can drop you off at the hotel but not pick you up you have to walk to the end of the street!
