The property and location is beautiful. The unit itself was nice, had decent amenities. The only issues we had was the bedding DID NOT appear freshly changed or laundered. There was a significant amount of both human and animal hair on the sheets. We were happy to find extra bedding in the closet so we were able to change it. And the WiFi was kinda temperamental which only mattered because we weren’t feeing well and wanted to just stay in and stream TV. It was a little disappointing that when I let VACASA know about the cleanliness issues there wasn’t any response. We have stayed in a VACASA rental in Gearhart in the past and when we arrived it looked like the cleaning crew had just left without finishing, laundry in the wash, vacuum was out and food garbage left on a counter. When I reported this during that stay the was an immediate response. But this feels a bit like a pattern and they would benefit from reviewing the standards with their cleaning crew.

Great condo. Awesome location near the quiet beach. Highlight was watching the sunset on the benches. Only downfall was the air wasn’t working well so condo was pretty warm.

Great vacation spot

This place is always awesome. The location is the best when walking to the beach and watching sunsets. The condo is always clean and feels so comfortable. They have everything you need to cook and clean as well. This is my favorite vacation spot because of the privacy, the views and peace.

The property overall was nice. The only downsides were there was only one coffee cup, and my wife stepped on as piece of glass by the sofa cutting her big toe. Fortunately, it was nothing serious and there was a first aid kit onsite that we utilized for the mend. It was right at the edge of the sofa, so it was missed during the cleaning from a previous break. The location was great and there was great communication as to the checking process and the codes. I would recommend a once over of the onsite amenities, as previously mentioned there was only on coffee cup and several other areas with labels for items that did not exist.

Quick relaxing trip to the beach

Honestly, I looked for something wrong with this place but everything was nice and clean and as advertised. Check in and out was easy. Overall a good experience and I would stay again in the future.

Extended stay

The unit is very convenient to the beach. There are some small appliances missing pieces, the cable/internet cuts in and out, and the king sized bed was was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time. Those are our biggest gripes. Overall, our stay went well.

Perfect Beach View -Wonderful condo

We enjoyed every minute at this Condo. It has everything you need. We contacted Vacasa/ Property Mgr. & spoke to them early am of our first morning. They never attempted to resolve the bed pillow's that need replaced, skylight leaks, used doggie bags on back porch.

Wrong Address given / Additional pet restrictions

Location was amazing, cute little cottage. However, THEY HAVE CHANGED THE ADDRESS OF THE PROPERTY! The new address is 101 13th Street. We spent 45 minutes searching for the property. Once we were pretty sure we located it, we called VACASA (property managers), who weren’t aware of the address change, but together we determined it was the correct place. Additionally, we chose this location because we were going to bring our dog. We had planned to leave our dog in her crate and go out to dinner. Once we got there lots of signs were posted about not leaving your dog unattended, unfriendly neighbor calling in complaints, etc. I feel we should have had this information beforehand. We did not… additional restrictions after arrival are not cool.

Clean comfortable condo with ocean view

Condo was spotless and very comfortable. We took our dog and forgot his food & water bowls so were happy to find them supplied. Very quiet neighborhood, short walk over dunes to the beach. The screen door on the slider was stuck but property management sent someone over right away to fix it. Very satisfied.

Quiet costal getaway

Loved the beach access of this property. Me, my partner, and my pup had a wonderful time. A very cozy, clean and quiet rental for a relaxing weekend. The WiFi was not great for me or my partner so I wouldn’t recommend anyone who needs consistent access for remote work. The shades to the back door were cumbersome to deal with as you have to pull them up to exit and down for privacy; making ease of access to the green space and beach difficult. It would be worth the investment to get lighter window coverings. The tea kettle could be replaced as it has rust inside and we opted to not use it. The fully stocked kitchen was great for meals at home. Good location to town and activities. Will come back again!

Cabinets

The cabinets! We stayed here before and a cabinet had a problem which I was initially blamed and charged for . The charges were resined rightfully so. So you can imagine my fear when opening one of the cabinet doors and a screw falls on the counter. The cabinets are unbelievably bad! Otherwise great although none of the basic condiments present (salt). Otherwise love the condo. Thanks!

Horrible stay

We arrived to a dirty condo. The bathroom was dirty, looked like they put clean towels out but that’s about it. The shower curtain was moldy and the toilet was dirty. I could go on. We contacted the management company and was told they where sorry and would bring a new shower curtain and asked if we wanted the bathroom cleaned. I told them I already cleaned it. They brought a curtain, not a liner (pictured sent to them was a moldy shower liner. I should of said liner.) I tried contacting them again, and was sent a message saying their local team would fix the issue. They did not get back to us after that. We ended up buying a shower liner, and bath mat (there wasn’t a bath mat.) The main floor hadn’t been swept either. There was dog hair everywhere, even on the stovetop. Dried dog urine in front of the couch. Again, I could go on. We spoke with the general manager of the rental company and was refunded our cleaning deposit. The bed was also terrible. It’s a platform bed with mattress topper that came to my knees, I’m 5’3”. When you laid down you felt like you where laying on the floor. We also purchased a new mattress topper, but didn’t help at all. The longer we where there the grosser we felt and would never stay again. We did end up leaving early because it was so uncomfortable and felt dirty the hole time. Needless to say, the place needs deep cleaned and a new mattress! The only good thing was it’s a good location and walking distance to the beach.

Perfect location

The location and access to the beach is unbeatable. The lights in the living room do not work making it very dark at night - tried to call properly management but no response. The bed is not super comfortable. Screen door is hard to move and blinds done work well on the slider door. Overall a good stay but improvements could be made.

Overall Great Rental

This was a great location in a quiet area. The unit was clean, kitchen was well appointed, and we really loved our stay BUT 10 nights on that mattress was rough. That was our only knock on this place. The memory foam topper needs to go and be replaced with a decent mattress.

Comfy cozy condo with only one complaint

What a comfy cozy condo! My hubby, pup and I stayed for a 4 nights over Christmas and felt right at home in the condo! It was sooo clean, warm and inviting that we would most defiantly want to come back to stay. Our only complaint about this unit was that the memory foam bed needs to be replaced stat. We walked into and you can visibly see the bed slopes to the middle. Then the memory foam sucks you in and its very hard to adjust sleeping position as it takes it awhile to reform. 2 nights would be ok in this but the 3rd and 4th night we both were getting aches and pains from it. Owners please replace this bed and then this unit would be sheer perfection! Thank you for sharing it and also for letting our pup stay!
