We had a really good time in this small and cosy hotel! Rooms are small but really cosy, bed is confortable, breakfast is soooo good ( home-made banana muffins and burrito!). Shared bathroom and kitchen. We really enjoyed this historical hotel aftet our 9h flight from France. This is a lovely out of the time hotel. And also the coffee is really good. Thanks a lot!!
This is a lovely little gem, situated in a calm area, complete with a hiking trail within walking distance. There is something special here, including the complimentary breakfast burritos.
The house is over 140 years old. Its leaning however the owner has made every effort to make it comfortable and cozy. Tiny details everywhere to make your stay comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We were initially surprised and cautious but we had a restfull quiet night. Kudos to Lauren to make this hotel a great option
My stay in this historic hotel was perfect. Being in this historic hotel and town with all the stories made the stay even better. The owner/proprietor made me feel at home. We had great homemade cookies, muffins, and breakfast burritos. Her knowledge of the hotel history and who had stayed there in the past was incredible. Such as Edison and Tesla as past guests. I plan to stay again whenever Iâm in the area. Next time will be a longer stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Such a little gem in the mountains! I saw a show at Red Rocks and didn't want to stay the right next to the venue. I found this wonderful little place just a 1/2 hour down the road, closer to where I'm living. Would highly recommend
An amazingly old hotel built in late 1800s and it feels like it!! Original wooden boards at the entry. The house is on a lean and even the staircase is on a tilt. Very unique, but expected for an almost 150 year old home.
Home creaks like a ghost may be around the corner.
A real neat experience. The quiet hours are real. I got âshhhhhâdâ right after 10 and was just talking with son. I hope it was not the creaky floors. You gotta walk to bathroom!
Super cool and historic property! Place was warm and cozy with an amazing historic and friendly vibe! Lauren is just lovely and her story of the bldg is super sweet. I arrived after dark but easily navigated my way around. Lauren was also available by phone to answer a few questions. Breakfast was yummy with many great options! My only request...eliminate bacon. Pigs are very intelligent animals with feelings of pain, joy and community. :-)
Stopped here during a snowstorm when pulled off the highway - a nice find! This is gem of a place in a beautiful location, and provided us what we needed. With self-check in, and our late arrival during a storm, we never saw anyone at all. Shared bathroom is clean, bed was comfortable, and morning provided muffins and beverages in lounge. We were grateful.
