We were very delighted with the Keystone Inn's history and antiquity. The breakfasts were outstanding. This is part of the BnB experience.
We did NOT like the confusion between Expedia & Keystone pursuant to the exact room we were given notice by Expedia that we booked, only to arrive to find we were placed in another room without the amenities (fireplace) we wanted. This demands correction for us, as well as any future guests & stays.
We stayed overnight to tour the Gettysburg sites the next day en route to Virginia. The Keystone is located in a residential neighborhood in a beautifully restored and furnished home. We arrived a little late, but Kerry greeted us with a friendly smile (and fresh cookies). She gave us a rundown of the Inn and took us to our room. The room we stayed in (Meade) was spacious and beautifully furnished, and both it and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained.
We drove in to town (not too far) to find some late-night takeout food, and came back for a quiet and relaxing night's sleep. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious and fueled our day-long tour of the war sites.
Be aware that parking is around the back and you might need to roll or carry your bags across the yard and possibly up some stairs.
Highly recommended for the lovely environment and the gracious hosting. You will not be disappointed!
Our innkeepers treated everyone like family. The food was amazing. When we arrived, during a snowstorm, the grounds were already cleared and safe. Every mid afternoon we were treated to a baked good. Canât say enough good things about our stay.
Tiffany checked us in and was most gracious. There was an issue with the AC unit in our room and she took care of the problem right away. The place was beautiful. Annette is a wonderful cook and hostess. Both made our first experience at a bed and breakfast most enjoyable. The location was excellent and close to everything we wanted to do.
Tiffany & Mack were the best! Efficient, pleasant & accommodating. They made our stay more than welcoming. We will definitely recommend the Keystone to anyone we know visiting Gettysburg.
The house was very well maintained and furnished with period correct furniture. The oak flooring, oak molding and thick oak doors, staircases, fireplaces, dining area and bedroom were all amazing. The breakfast was well prepared. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The parking was very convenient.
