The bed skirt was filthy with stains making the question of cleanliness pretty easy. The place was not clean. The place was small, there was a strobing light outside the window even with the drapes closed and it was very noisy. Would not recommend or stay there again.
While this property looks nice from the outside. It falls extremely short on the inside. When we walked to the front desk upon arriving I waited for 10 min. I then went looking for someone. I found a room steward and asked her. She said that she would help me. I find it odd that someone tasked with cleaning rooms would also be tasked with manning the front desk. When we walked in the room it appeared clean. But smelt like cigarette smoke. Not too strong. But it was there. We were tired from a 7 hour drive. So we roughed it out and went to bed. After we walked around the room with our shoes off it was obvious the floor was not clean and dirt was sticking to our feet. During the night the lot next door kept bright lights on their parking lot on all night. The shades didnât close and were hanging down. When we woke the next day we went to get into our car and the car next to us was vandalized. Someone had spray painted a vulgar word on their door. We took pictures and let the front desk know. When we got back to the room that night the odor was incredibly strong. When we searched for the source we found cigarette butts under the entertainment center. We were so frustrated we went downstairs and checked out and went to another hotel. The personnel at the front desk promised theyâd approve a refund. However when we tried getting one through Expedia we were denied. Iâd stay in my car before I stayed here again. One night was enough.
The pictures on the website and the actual place are not even close. I have stayed at several Wyndham properties and never have I see a place so in need of TLC. There was mold in the bathtub, rusty hinges on the bathroom door. Discoloration on the ceiling in the bathroom. The frig was unplugged and made a funny noise when we plugged it in. The bed were very uncomfortable.
The young lady at the front desk was trying her best to make our stay possible but she could not overcome the lack of an elevator, no cart rack for transporting luggage the incorrect information concerning the pet deposit and last but definitely least the very poor condition of the rooms heating system. When we got there she told us our room was on the second floor but there was no elevator and we didnât really want to pack all our stuff upstairs. She said she would have to contact the manager but she would go ahead and change our room to the 1st floor. When we entered the room it was about 100 degrees so we turned off the heat and turned on the AC. Then the young lady came and said the manager wanted us in a different room so we went to that one and it was just as hot as the 1st one. We turned the AC on but the dial for the thermostat was broken and just spun around. At this point we were done (we had been driving for 13 hours) and said we wanted a refund. The manager wasnât there so we would contact Expedia to take care of it. Expedia came back and said the manager said we should have cancelled the booking according to the rules before we arrived. We had no prior knowledge of the issues that occurred. They need to fix the thermostat and fire their manager for incompetence. Oh and we donât recommend anyone booking this hotel ever.
The room was so hot at like 80 when we got in and we couldnât cool it down. We turned on the ac (in winter ) to cool it down which didnât help until about 3 am. We were all sweating. As for the ac why do we he a/c s in hotels go on and off loudly all night. Why canât the have just a consistent fan sound. I was awake all night
