Was rather noisy outside the room at night ...lot of banging doors and loud talking outside in the corridors.

Very disappointed

Allocated room over the turning circle with noisy guests leaving into the early hours, load laughter and talking. New guests arriving from 6am in buses and cars with loud meet and great conversations below our window. Customer service not able to deal with problems or requests....‘virtual’ manager not available. Breakfast returned as cold...supplementary price for most items on top of 3 course £60 per head dinner menu. A very disappointing stay!!

Very relaxing in comfortable and spacious surround

Pros: Delightful location, somewhat isolated but with plenty to do within a very short car ride.
Enjoyed tea and drinks in the lounge area, looking out to beautiful views. The staff were all courteous especially the concierges and doormen who were all exceptionally helpful.

Fab hotel!

Lovely, quiet location. Friendly staff and great facilities. Loads to do for families. Very grand decor and beautifully decorated for Christmas

Five star hotel

Booked as a last minute surprice for my sons birthday. Hotel is beutiful and the food is amazing. Full Scottish breakfast (yummy) - I'd book a sea view next time as the view is outstanding.

Luxury

Pros: Sheer luxury
Cons: The service is a bit shambolic, no one knew what went to which table and service was slow.
Location: Fantastic location, very picturesque with lovely walks nearby.
Beautifully refurbished, very lavishly decorated and extremely comfortable. Food good, staff very helpful. Horrendously ghastly new statue at front entrance!!

Absolutely first class!

Loved this hotel, our stay was fabulous from start to finish, dinner in the restaurant was superb and staff couldn't be more helpful......and they were Scottish!!

Cons: Leisure facility needs updating
Location: Walks, shopping
Lovely hotel. StAff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views. Leisure facility in need of updating
