Located in Glen Arbor and within walking distance from everything this charming town has to offer and Lake Michigan, this two-bedroom, air-conditioned retreat is an excellent choice for your next family escapade. Experience the outdoors from another point of view when you gather around the firepit in the backyard. The comfortable screened porch allows you to enjoy the beautiful wooded views without moving from the comfort of your retreat. The open and airy living room space features a gas fireplace, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with cable, and inviting sofas. Prepare delicious homemade meals for the family thanks to the well-appointed kitchen.

The primary bedroom is located on the main floor and features a secluded en suite bathroom with a large vanity and a soaking tub. The second bedroom has two comfortable beds and is located upstairs, off the loft area.

The location is close to sleeping bear dunes, which I what we went there to see, it’s a cute little house tucked in close to restaurants and shops, I would definitely stay again.

Very nice, clean two bedroom home. Was furnished with everything you would need for a stay. Off the beaten path but very close to shops and restaurants. Three blocks to lake. Nice screened in porch. Tv and internet were perfect. This is a pet friendly house. If you are allergic to animals or dont feel comfortable staying at place where pets were on the couch or bed, this place is probably not for you. (We did have a problem with the bad smell on the bedspread, probably from an animal.)Overall though, very clean.

The location of the property was excellent and well stocked with all necessities. A lot of the decor was outdated and could use a little freshening up but it was a pleasant experience overall. Communication was not good, no way to talk to a human being over a few of the problems we were having but I was probably rent there again - even knowing it‘a issues

Relaxing and Fun

This was an excellent location for wine touring. We hired a driver for both days and visited at least 7 wineres each day. The town of Glen Arbor also has several shops, eateries and hang out spots, all in walking distance from this location. The house was clean, roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

A Glen Arbor Treasure

Clean and Comfortable and Quiet. Just the right place for a getaway. The home has a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. I would like to trade my master bed at home with the one in this cottage. The lovely town of Glen Arbor is within walking distance so you don't have to mess with parking.

Great location!

House was exactly as described. Perfect for 6 adults. Loved that the dining room table sat all 6 of us plus could extend out. Location is close to everything but yet feels secluded. Check in and out process was super easy! Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, tidy home in heart Glen Arbor

I would not hesitate to stay here again. Home was exactly as described and pictured. Very, very clean and comfortable. Mattresses were very comfortable to sleep on. Great location near grocery and restaurants and Glenn Arbor. Easy drive to the hikes and sleeping bar dunes that we had planned. Kitchen was very clean and big enough to prepare food in. Lots of dishes and other kitchen utensils to use.

Wonderful home!

Came up for a sisters weekend and absolutely loved our stay at Uncle Warren's Retreat :) What a slice of heaven in the heart of Glen Arbor! The location was incredible, and the home itself was clean & well taken care of. Hope to come back again!

What's there not to like?

This home has everything you need. Nothing too fancy, but what do you need? The location is ideal. We had a wonderful time over the Thanksgiving weekend enjoying some of the many things this area has to offer. Glen Arbor's tree lighting, Christmas caroling, art show, shopping, visiting with Santa, hiking trails and dunes, as well as visiting other local cities and all they have to offer. One suggestion I would make is that the home could use a good power washing.
