Beautiful stay in Gloucester. Check-in was a breeze and the house was well equipped and clean. Linens were plentiful: plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. Pat was a wonderful host and provided great instructions on accessing the home and parking. He even shared a weather alert when a large storm was approaching. It was like staying with family. Highly recommend.

Lovely house new Good Harbor Beach

Pat was a fantastic host. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is awesome. 5 minute walk from Good Harbor Beach and equally close to an excellent ice cream/pizza/lobster roll place. I hope to stay again in the future.

Bridesmaid's Home Base

This property was gorgeous and much more spacious then the photos made it appear. It was a very comfortable set up to hang out as a group as well as having some space to spread out individually. Great property for a group. Very close to Hammond Castle as well as the train station for a Boston/Salem trip with the group if you didn't want to drive. Only downside, the driveway can be a little tricky to manage at times with it being such a sharp angle off the main road and being kinda steep. If you have multiple cars, it can be a little game of shuffling to get them all to fit without blocking the garage door, but definitely manageable if thought of ahead of time. There were no parking signs on the road by the house, we managed having all cars in the driveway but I'm not sure how far those signs are valid. Definitely recommend! The home felt very welcoming, like you were a part of the family.

Perfect Home

I highly recommend staying here, especially for larger groups. We had 4 kids (3-11) and 6 adults. There was plenty of space for sleeping and living space. We never felt cramped. There was PLENTY of towels, sheets and even beach towels. There were games for the kids and adults, kitchen is very spacious and fully stocked. Kids ate at the kitchen bar while the adults ate at the dining table. Everything was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised when pulling extra sheets and or blankets from the closet they were all freshly clean. We’ve been to many places that made me nervous using their bedding, but not here. Pat was always quick to respond and honestly made me feel like we were her personal guests. There were 2 bottles of wine there welcoming us to her home. We all felt at home, it is very cozy and comfortable. We do have family in the area that we visit but they cannot accommodate the 10 of us, which we all want to come back during the summer when we have more time to enjoy Cape Ann and all that it has to offer. Thank you Pat, your home is the best VRBO we stayed in!

Wonderful spot for a family beach week!

Pat was super friendly and helpful during our stay. House was immaculate and exactly as advertised! Home provided enough space for our family of 9, and the well stocked kitchen was a great place to spend time together after a long sunny beach day. Short walk to the beach, and lots of nearby fun for rainy days. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Pat!!

Good Harbor vacation

Our extended family of grandparents, parents, and grandkids fit in this house very comfortably, with room for a couple of cousin sleepovers. Nicely furnished, kitchen has everything you might need, and plenty of space to dine in or out. The outdoor living area is great and safe for various grandchild hijinks.Just a short walk to the beach, and just as importantly, to the ice cream stand! Reading previous reviews, will say driveway may be daunting at first, but not unusual for this area, and there is ample parking, which is unusual for this area. No odors of any kind, house was immaculate. The owner is great communicator and low stress, easy rental process start to finish

Family Vacation

Our family had a fantastic vacation at this home. We walked to Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach to avoid parking fees there. Both are beautiful beaches. The home has absolutely everything you will need in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Also provides towels, boogie boards and cart for the beach. The outdoor space was fantastic for family games, BBQing, making s’mores on the fire pit, and just relaxing and reading on the patio. We loved exploring Rockport, Gloucester, Salem, and Boston. There are 3 formal bedrooms and one couple stayed in the loft. (Can get quite warm in the loft in the month of July) There are A/C units only in the 3 bedrooms. The owner does provide plenty of floor fans to help cool the place a little. Great communication with the owner anytime we had a question. We loved the location of the home, very close to everything. We loved our nightly walks to the ice cream shop. Just a very short car ride to the local market for food. We loved the privacy of the home and yard, and the space inside to accommodate all of us. It was so nice to vacation where we didn’t have to pack so much stuff because this home truly had everything. Thank you for making our family vacation one to remember!
