Central location.
Not quite up to the usual standard, but we still had an enjoyable stay.
We have discussed issues with the property manager and she made a list to get on and sort.
Photos on original listing showed river and beach view. Just beach view which was a bonus for us, but if you were expecting both, you might have been dissapointed.
Nowhere on the listing did it say we needed to go elsewhere to collect and drop keys for check in and out. We specifically chose this one as it did not say this, so assumed like in the past we could go straight to the hotel, check in and enjoy. Although the location for check in wasnt far away, it was still a hike with 2 cases and not something we expected. We were able to leave our cases at this pick up location until check in and after check out which was great.
The room was very clean. It was well set up with crockery, pots etc. If you had small children there were books, beach toys and a pram which was a nice addition.
The sliding door off the lounge did not open both ways as it should, and although we mentioned this and were told maintenance would be there the next morning, this was not fixed during our 10 day stay. The property manager was very appologetic about this.You are still able to access the deck however, the door is unable to lock, and this is a safety issue especially with smaller children.
The tiles in the kitchen and the bathroom could also do with an overhaul. The spare blanket had holes. The tap in the laundry drips.
