This was the first time I have stayed at this property and it was absolutley wonderful. The apartment was beautifully kept, the view was stil beautiful even though blocked by road side trees. Staff were amazing when I advised of the 3 very minor issues upon leaving. The pool, saunas, bbq area and eating area were well kept and clean as well. Very short walk around the corner to a bus that can take you into the city or out to Sea world. Great location. I will definatley be booking again.

This was our 2nd stay at Crystal Bay in two years. We love the location, cleanliness and presentation of the apartments, also the place is mobility friendly. We have marked it down purely because the wifi was so unreliable. Traveling from another country we relied on wifi for communicating with family and friends and also for planning our sightseeing and venues for the days ahead. We were mostly unable to do this during our 8 day stay so it would be something we would seriously consider when planning any future visit to the GC.

After hours check in was shocking. Arrived at 630pm and waited 30 minutes before I managed to get someone to answer the after hours call. Great location, and room had plenty of space. But appliances were old and broken, showers were old and broken. In general the place needs work.

As a business traveller, would have been good to know that Reception is open 08:30-17:00. Arrival after 17:00 wasn't an issue as I called & got in via a dropbox, but I was then told I had to hang around until 08:30 the next morning to provide ID & credit card; not ideal when working. The gym did not open until 07:30 - again not good for someone who works out at 05:00. That said, the area around the hotel is beautiful so morning gym was replaced by morning walks. The promised VIP bottle of wine was absent; not an issue as I don't drink, but not the VIP perk advertised. I will probably stay again & ensure I check in before 17:00 on the first day.
