The hotel is well located with a nice view on the marina. The stay was very pleasant apart from the check in. First of all, my partner called the hotel a day before to inquire about breakfast, asking if it is including or extra and the person on the phone was very rude and said they couldn't provide this information over the phone, before actually answering! Then, when we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room number and the code to this room. We entered and started walking around the room, only to realise there were clothes and other items, so there was already someone occupying the room.... that's a pretty strong breach of privacy for this person! The booking system should be updated.... Then we were given another room on another floor and when we came in, we realised the bathroom hadn't been cleaned! The cleaner who came to clean the bathroom was lovely and even though it wasn't her fault that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in the first place, she worked as quickly as possible so we could use the bathroom. Overall good but could be much nicer with a better organisation.

Prior to booking, I enquired for an early check in due to a wedding I needed to attend and told no problem, I sent a message asking for check in details the day before, no answer, on arrival I was advised $20 fee for early check in, no issue, was then advised room would be ready in 30 minutes, advised again another 30 mins, all up waited 1hr 10 mins. This establishment is obviously understaffed and in need of maintenance.

Must Try a Lot Harder. Overpriced for what it is.

This was just an 8 hour stay between flights. Checked in no real problem. The lady behind the counter couldn’t decide if she was cleaning the desk area or serving her customer. Her English was poor. The room keyboardcomes in the form of a text message. A long walk takes us to the door. A degree in micro electronics is required to open it. What is wrong with a physical key? Eventually in the room, the ‘harbour view’ that cost extra was lovely except you had to stand on a chair to get it. It’s a misrepresentation in room 2030 to say it’s a harbour view, though the top of some taller masts can be seen. The room itself was hit and miss. Beds and showers were good enough. Tiles in the bathroom were broken and dangerous. We wanted to get a few hours sleep before a 24 hour flight to London but this was not possible. First, and worst, 2030 has an adjoining door to a service room ( for no sensible reason that I could see, where someone scrubbed and splashed and created for and hour and woke us. Then the housekeeper bange on the door as she couldn’t remember if she had serviced the room. You don’t have to check out formally so we just walked out. At the airport I took a call from the hotel. Another voice that did not speak English well. She wanted to know my name for some reason. Must try harder

I have taken photos of the room we stayed in - the curtains were broken, a lot of mould in the shower and ceiling, carpets not vacuumed properly and broken tap in the vanity of bathroom.

The first room that I was given was horrific. I requested a different room, which was much better, but still very ‘tired’. The room furnishings, upholstery, curtains, carpet need to be replaced. This property is in dire need of a renovations. There were no additional security features on the room’s door. And the front entrance to the property was always left wide open. Additional room services such as cleaning was an additional cost.

This property was not clean. I had to ask for another set of sheets because the sheets had been slept in. There was no remote for the television and it could not be used. Workman began work at 6.30am in the room above us and it was not possible to continue to sleep. We were meant to stay 3 nights but booked out after one night.

Complete Disaster !! When we arrived at the hotel there was no staff at reception then quickly the chef came out and was doing chef and reception, the dining area was completely unorganised the pool had underwear in it at the deep end piles of cigarettes around the pool, there was a smaller pool area that was full of mould and green algae the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned in weeks or months , our room had COCKROACHES in it, we quickly packed our bags and went to reception and the manager looked disinterested and was unapologetic just asked did we want a refund , some rooms were under renovation which is totally understandable but the halls were left dirty with wood chipping and shaving all down them would definitely not be back and will NOT be recommending to anyone !

I didn’t arrive until 6pm only to find my room was not ready and still had to be cleaned. After being at kids sport all day and just wanting to shower only to find out towels are not included. Front desk continued an argument with staff for 10 mins while we waited to be booked in. Room unclean and suspect sheets not changed as dirty near feet. Hair in bathroom, windows grubby and we had to rehang curtains in order to close them. Toilet cistern had a huge crack, empty toilet roll on holder - unkept, untidy and unfriendly

This is not a hotel, but a front for a scam. Upon trying to check in (late, having informed the hotel we would be checking in late and having received acknowledgement) there was nobody at reception. Nobody answered the phone, the front doors were wide open, looked liked a total mess. The only people present were the police arresting someone. We were forced to find accomodation elsewhere - not easy or cheap late at night with young children. In an attempt to get a refund in the following days - Hotels.com refused, saying they will only provide a refund if the hotel agrees. Of course the hotel did not agree, saying they don’t do check ins after 8pm, and if the guests don’t turn up before 8, they lose the money - even when they have a previous agreement to a late check in. And Hotel.com’s response? Sorry, nothing we can do. How does Hotels.com take money for a service they haven't provided, knowing they have not provided, then blame a third party for not being able “to process a refund”. Don’t ever stay at this hotel, and don’t ever use Hotels.com

Title: Very disappointing stay in Room 2021 Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I rarely post negative reviews, but our experience in Room 2021 was far below basic standards. We found two cockroaches—one in the room and another in the bathroom—which immediately raised hygiene concerns. The bedside curtain was broken on one side and wouldn’t close properly. The kettle was filthy inside with black, sticky residue; we didn’t dare use it and had to buy bottled water from the supermarket instead. The bathroom ceiling looked unfinished, with plasterboard visibly exposed. These issues suggest both poor cleanliness and neglected maintenance. For guest safety and comfort, I recommend a thorough pest treatment, proper deep cleaning and replacement of the kettle, immediate repair of the curtain, and completion of the bathroom ceiling. Until these are addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel.
