Our Lodge was superb, absolutely stunning with prime views over the lake.
Our room was huge with a separate lounge featuring a real wood burning fireplace, although it was very hot during the day 28 degrees it got cool very quickly in the evening and the wood burning fire was lovely to burn.
The Burgess dining room was expensive but the food was delicious, our server Gemma was very knowledgeable, breakfast was buffet and had everything from continental to cooked, nothing was left out, our server Sara was very friendly.
The only downside was the amount of day visitors making queues longer at the bar, and as hotel guests we had no priority and were unable to get a table at the Cilantro bar.
We hired a canoe which I'd recommend as the views from the lake are stunning.
Overall I'd definitely recommend staying at Emerald Lake, as it gets quieter after the day visitors leave.
