Stale old cigarette smoke smell in the rooms. Moved twice. Finally, the last room we were moved to still had the smell but it was not as overwhelming. The staff was polite and accommodating.

The staff was very professional and friendly. They cleaned our room every day for 4 days which you don't see now a days. It was an excellent stay and will stay there again next time I'm in Golden.

Ideal place to stay if you are travelling. Right along the highway (yet quiet), close to restaurants, gas and coffee. Not too far from the river valley, ski hill and recreational areas if you are staying a while. Helpful staff, clean and well maintained.

Property was clean and room was fine for our one night stay. In the restaurant attached to the hotel they only had one person working other than the cook. Our meal took so long to get. Felt so sorry for the person working having to do absolutely everything.
