Do you like cold hot tubs? Garbage on the front porch? What about no sheets on the beds! And did I mention the dishwasher doesn't work? The best part was the non-stop beeping coming from the garage that kept people up in an otherwise quiet home. We checked in on New Years Eve last week to find both garbage containers completely full from the previous tenants along with a plastic kitchen bag full of garbage on the stoop. This was the first sign something was off. Upon check in, the dishwasher had a large note stating "dishwasher doesn't work, has been reported". We had 10 people staying and cooking, so this was much less than ideal-- and only one sponge and a tiny dishsoap for 4 full days. The hot tub was set to 65 degrees, so we couldn't even use it the first day-- and the hot tub was my primary selling point on this house. We were missing sheets on the twin pull outs. I contacted Vacasa within an hour of check in, but it took until the next day to get sheets. Lastly, there was non stop beeping from a "low battery" from presumably the security system that kept those staying in the basement up, resulting in poor sleep. Half my guests left after two nights. In short, I was more than unhappy with this rental experience. I have rented in Govy at least 6 different properties. Try the Grand Lodges or any of Mountain resort lodging properties with Blane instead.
