Everything was perfect!! From check-in to check-out and parking valet service. Entrance to the Alhambra palace is about 1-2 minutes. Walking distance to the city center, beautiful, beautiful. I would like to come back here again. Nice restaurant and excellent staff. No wonder this is 5 star hotel.

The room was spotless, we liked the hotel very much. The staff were very nice, especially the woman on the front desk on our last evening, 10 January and on our check out day, 11 January (the same lady). She was absolutely lovely, and kind. We liked everything actually, except that it was really difficult for us that the heated towel rail did not work. A maintenance man put a lot of effort into trying to fix it. We were trying to use it to dry our laundry. These things should be checked and tested before guests arrive. Thanks though to the lovely staff, and the lovely design of the hotel, we enjoyed our stay overall.

Wanted to visit Alhambra and this was directly across from it. Almost any other hotel would have required a 20 minute walk or cab ride. Beautiful hotel and room with very friendly staff.

We had a good stay at the Aurea Washington Irving Hotel. Location was perfect and only a few steps to the famous Alhambra. Bed was comfortable with options to choose for your pillows for a restful sleep. Breakfast has variety of healthy choices and Granata Restaurant has good food, too. Staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel is clean, although the carpets on the hallways may need updating. Overall, we are happy with our stay.
