The lodge was perfect for our stay- main reason was for hiking, it was convenient to everything that we needed. The dining was great, have the option of the dining hall or the tavern;offered many different options. There was market that was close and had all the essential items we needed. The room was clean and comfy. Loved the location and proximity to the canyon. The area was gorgeous

So so. Gets a premium price only due to being in the park. Fairly basic. Our room did not have soap in the shower dispenser. How does that happen?

Being inside the park, makes it very convenient to walk around. There are dining options and the convenience store to buy take out. We loved the lodge. The resident astronomer was an asset, the Hopi house and store, the south rim, walkway, and bus

We didn't actually stay at Yavapai. Our tickets to Antelope Canyon were cancelled and moved to the following day so we had to move things around. We asked if we could cancel 25 hours before check in. We were told to have the third party we booked through to call and request cancellation. After 15 minutes on hold, Expedia told us Yavapai told them no. How rude. Never again.

It was a park room, so nothing fancy. We did have to go up one flight of stairs. Amenities of being in the park outweigh everything else. Recommend.

Fantastic location in the National Park. 5 mins walk to buses that take you to the rim, or 5 min drive to car parks. Rooms are motel style with parking outside your ‘cabin’ . Food in Tavern isn’t good value - tiny portions. Staff at reception were excellent - they gave us great advice for planing our stay. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

The room was clean and had updated furniture and a coffee machine. Perfectly located for visiting Mather Point to see sunset and sunrise as less than 5 minutes from the visitor centre access to the trail. A few minutes from the dining room, tavern and gift shop amenities.
