Profitez de la vue magnifique depuis notre magnifique maison de campagne récemment construite (2002), «en ville» et à quelques pas du lac Grand ou du lac Shadow Mountain. Assez isolé pour assurer beaucoup de paix et de tranquillité, vous ne trouverez pas inhabituel de voir des orignaux, des wapitis, des renards et d'autres animaux sauvages se nourrir de nos fleurs sauvages le matin / le soir.

Grand Lake est une ville historique pittoresque qui sert d'entrĂ©e ouest moins frĂ©quentĂ©e au parc national des Montagnes Rocheuses - l'accĂšs au parc est Ă  une courte distance de 100 mĂštres de notre chalet! - et offre une abondance d'activitĂ©s d'Ă©tĂ© et d'hiver. Golf, canotage, natation, pĂȘche, ski nautique, jet-ski, ski alpin, ski de fond, motoneige, kayak, randonnĂ©e pĂ©destre, Ă©quitation, ainsi que les nombreux restaurants, boutiques de cadeaux, thĂ©Ăątre en direct et Ă©vĂ©nements sociaux en ville en faire des vacances d'Ă©tĂ© idĂ©ales.

Notre maison 2BR / 2BA peut accueillir jusqu'à 5 adultes, a été équipée d'une literie design et d'un mobilier sélectionné à la main pour transmettre une sensation «rustique contemporaine». La chambre principale offre un lit queen w / salle de bain privée, la chambre «enfants» offre un lit superposé double / complet avec lit gigogne, et il y a un lit queen dans la salle familiale. Kigin Cabin was everything we needed for our stay in Grand Lake Colorado. It has a phenomenal view from the deck! It was close to the town, close to Rocky Mountain National Park and close to many hiking trails. The kitchen set up was very nice with great appliances and all of the things we needed. Comfortable, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again. Communication with the host was great.

The cabin was very cute and clean! Everything we needed for the weekend was there, the owners were VERY responsive - even turned the light on for us for our late arrival. The views were beautiful off the deck and through the huge windows in the living room. Only drawback was having to do all the laundry on check out day rather than just stripping the beds as well as having to take the trash with us. But other than a few chores, it was a wonderful stay!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our stay on the west side of RMNP. The views were breathtaking. Close to the entrance of the park and to downtown Grand Lake. It was clean, the kitchen was will stocked and spacious. Joseph answered all my questions quickly, have excellent suggestions for dining and activities in the area. Only concern is the steps going to the deck to get into the house. The last step going in is a bit higher and not quite level. But please don't let that keep you from staying here. We enjoyed our stay and if in the area again would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Lovely view. Well stocked kitchen. Convenient drive to town and RMNP. We didn’t walk into town because it’s a very steep dirt road about .8 mile in to downtown. Good communication with host.

This vacation home was in a perfect location. Lots of privacy but so close to Main Street and the Lake. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything you need. Joe was always available to answer any questions we had about the property. I would highly recommend booking this vacation home, and when we return to the Grand Lake area we will book it again.

Perfect getaway

Property was exactly as listed! Views and location were excellent! We were able to go in beautiful hikes in RMNP, see wildlife, and relax on the beautiful deck. Living spaces were comfortable and kitchen was functional. My only recommendation is that the cookware could use an upgrade (I’m a little picky about health, so scratched non-stick pans are a no-go for me)

The cabin is lovely and well kept. It is as nice in person as it is in the pictures provided. There was plenty of space for our family of four and its proximity to both Rocky Mountain National Park’s Kawuneeche entrance and the shops of Grand Lake made it exactly what we were looking for. Joe was very helpful and quick to respond with needs and questions. I would definitely recommend this place!

We spent a week here on our honeymoon, loved every second. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you will have no problems at all! Highly recommend staying here!

A most wonderful home...in every way

The home was, as mentioned on the site, most comfy and welcoming.There obviously was careful thought in making the home have anything one could need during a visit. It is the first time I ever stayed in a place that actually even had a generator (if need be). Honestly, none of us wanted to leave as it just felt like home. There are numerous games for any age range and also all the cooking utensils, equipment for making a Thanksgiving dinner. There is nothing that was overlooked in the planning of this home for guests! But most important was the general "feel" of the home....warm, inviting and festive (with many decorations already in place). Oh...the other very important distinctive feature of this house is the views which are amazing from every large window in the main area, spanning the kitchen, dining area and living room! I can just imagine being there in the summer and spending time on the deck, which overlooks the lake and all the beautiful surrounding areas! Additionally, I have never encountered such an incredibly helpful host! Joe was available and helpful throughout our stay, with every need or question we had. It is most obvious that he wants people to enjoy their stay in his lovely home and ensures that everything is perfect for his guests. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful home this is and when you couple that with such helpful hosts, you know you have found a winner! We already are talking about returning in the summer.

Cozy cabin with views, close to RMNP

We wanted a gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and that lead us to Grand Lake. This property is up above the town with amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is minutes from the West park Entrance. Even in late October, there are still a bunch of parts of the park that are still accessible, and no special passes required. The cabin has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, and spacious. The family area is spacious and comfortable. The decor is all wildlife, which is our personal favorite. Joe was so easy to with, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property!

Anniversary Week

My husband and I stayed in this property for a week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cabin was very comfortable, had everything we could possibly need and was absolutely spotless. The view was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The location is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed going into RMNP and the Grand Lake area. Communication with the host was excellent. He provided us with eating suggestions as well as things to do in the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rocky Mountain Fall Vacation

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. It is located in a peaceful and beautiful area. The view was amazing and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was perfect, the only thing that could have made it better was another weeks stay! Thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin.

Ok

The cons: washing, drying and folding bed linens, bringing the trash to the local firehouse dumpster, owner’s insistence on receipt of a signed rental agreement before he will send the door code (even if you must go out of your way to send it on your vacation). Also the bathroom in the main bedroom has a tiny shower that will soak the floor if you are not careful in aiming the shower head away from the shower door on getting in. The furnace sounds like a locomotive in the middle of the night and disturbs your sleep, and the washer shakes the whole house when spinning. I did delay through forgetfulness in sending the rental agreement. The owner didn’t send useful instructions on how to find the dumpsters for your trash until we were leaving and we didn’t even see his text. The lake views are nice but the house faces west and the lake is south. The overall neighborhood is so-so in my opinion but it’s close to Rocky Mountain National Park and the cabin is private. There are no useful amenities in Grand Lake. The owner seems like a friendly well-meaning guy. But he expects too much from his guests, including a $59 insurance policy against damage.
