We arrived at 3 pm, posted check-in time. Our reserved room (mobility friendly room) was not ready and would not be ready for 30 minutes. We did not have time to wait, they gave us a standard room. The representative handling our check in was unprofessional and rude. An apology and a friendly smile would have gone a long way for our inconvenience. Neither were offered.

I had an amazing experience at the Residence Inn in Grand Rapids! From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.The room was spotless, spacious, and felt like a true home away from home. The full kitchen was a huge plus perfect for a longer stay and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was modern, quiet, and well-maintained.Breakfast each morning was fresh and had plenty of great options, and I loved the relaxing atmosphere in the lounge area. The location was also super convenient, close to restaurants, shopping, and just a short drive to downtown Grand Rapids. Whether you’re in town for business, a weekend getaway, or a family trip, I highly recommend staying here. It’s easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the area — clean, comfortable, and truly welcoming.

We absolutely love this spacious, clean, conveniently located property with easy parking. My 2nd time staying here and I’ll book again. Beds are comfortable, nice kitchen and bathroom. Thank you for the delicious breakfast, your staff keeps the dining area clean and the food hot.

My recent stay was problematic as there was a lighting issue in the room. The main overhead light was burned out. My friend who stayed in room has only vision in one eye and only about 20%. The made it very difficult to maneuver around the room safely. We called the front desk and they said someone would be up, but no one ever came. Very disappointed

Very clean, the room felt fresh and the location is great. The views were also great. You do hear quite a bit of traffic but it is on a busy area. Checkin was fast and friendly! Parking was easy

The noise from the outside bar DJ was unbelievably loud Thursday night and then the road noise with cars drag racing and gunning engines at the light on Fulton was so loud we couldn't sleep. It did not quiet down till 2:30 am Friday night.
