Discover Granville

Lovely apartment and location , some things could be improved...easily. This is a wonderful apartment very well located and with excellent views of Granville port. The bathing area in the bedroom is a nice feature. The toilet is separate. The bedroom is on the quiet side of the building and bed is comfortable. Access was easy although we had to ask and wait until the last minute for instructions. It was then we learned that « If you want to rent the machine, the kit is 30 Euros and 30 Euros cleaning ». This means that if you want sheets and towels it’s another 30 Euros, there’s no machine. Since we didn’t realize what this meant our hostess kindly waived the fee and we opted to clean the apartment. The linens offered were meagre, no bottom sheet and a quilt cover several sizes too small. The value of these linens would not come close to 30 Euros. We would prefer that the owner raise the rent and include linen, nice linen, and cleaning. The view would be worth it. The kitchen basics are there but you may want to bring along a potato peeler and tongs. We "translated" the cottage details and passed them on to the owner, we'll see if they're used.

Beautiful apartment, great value for money, lovely owner

We booked this apartment for a couple of days in early June and were not disappointed. The views from the apartment out to the harbour are amazing; the apartment itself is well laid out, pleasantly furnished and is very comfortable. The owner is lovely, very friendly and most helpful. The only thing we would recommend if you’re arriving to the apartment later in the day (later than 6pm), is to make sure you have any food/drink essentials as the shops close around 6pm. There is a supermarket that stays open until 9pm not far from the apartment (we didn’t get there in time for that). Some lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance of the apartment and good links out to other attractions. A nice array of boutique shops/cafes too. We wish we had more time available to explore the town some more as it looked beautiful.

Bien placé près du centre et des plages avec une superbe vue sur le port qui fait vite oublier les 3 étages à monter (pas difficile) La route peux être un peu bruyante.Très lumineux avec 5 grandes fenêtres.Correspond à la description avec un grand frigo grand congélateur(pas noté dans la description) lave-vaisselle,lit en 160 confortable, salle de bain dans la chambre mais qui évite d'avoir deux petites pièces. Double de clés à disposition (ce qui est assez rare) Parking gratuit à proximité devant le commissariat de police.Très bon contact avec Clarisse,nous y retournerons sans hésitation.

Insgesamt hat es mir gut gefallen. Die Lage ist gut, der Kontakt war unkompliziert.Die Einrichtung ist teilweise etwas ältlich.Es fehlt ein Duschvorhang, und die Aufhängung der Vorhänge ist sehr fragil. Die Türfalle des Wohnungseingangs muss unbedingt repariert werden.

Granville est une ville magnifique. En plein centre ville, pres du port, des commerces et de la plage. Logement bien malgre quelques petits désagréments : 3 etages par un escalier tres dur à monter avec des bagages et si on a des difficultés avec ses genoux, des voilages aux fenêtres permettraient une intimité (salle de bains, acces aux toilettes). Nous sommes arrivés un week-end prolongé : difficulté pour se garer. Mais apres, Granville dispose de pal mal de places de parkings gratuits.

Toll gelegene Wohnung am Hafen von Granville mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum kostenlosen Parken in der Nähe (3 Parkplätze mit verschiedenen Distanzen zur Wohnung); Touribüro ist unmittelbar nebenan ebenso wie Lebensmittelmärkte, Restaurants etc. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll in weiß-beige-rosa gestaltet. Wünschenswert wären hier noch weiteres Kochequipment wie z.B. Pfannenwender. Defekte Komponenten wie z.B. die Abzugshaube und die fehlende Duschwand werden wohl zeitnah reparariert; haben uns nicht gestört. Sehr gute Kommunikation und Hilfsbereitschaft durch die Vermieterin. Eine leere Gasflasche ist umgehend in Abstimmung mit uns ersetzt worden. Auch die Erreichbarkeit war hervorragend.

Bien situé avec une vue très agréable sur le port et le ville haute. Seule petite ombre au tableau : c’est au troisième étage. C’est le prix à payer pour avoir la lumière et une belle vue.
