Easily accessible entrance, nice nearby parking, staff friendly. The only thong i didnt like was o was asked to make a deposit for "accessories" i think is what she said. Whe i asked what that entailed, she was sort of nonspecific. The room was very nice, but i was afraid to unwrap a paper cup for drinking. Please be sure to refund that deposit when i check out. Im taking pictures.

This place is in a great location! Easy access to multiple freeways, tons to do in the area. Easy check in, friendly staff. Room was eh...needed a lil love. Carpet in one corner was not tucked into the baseboard - looked rather shabby. In another corner behind the door, was a dead bug or insect that had been there for a while. The HVAC unit will not be able to fight the Texas summers but was sufficient for this colder snap in February. I would probably stay here again but only after exhausting other options in the area. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety.

Great stay in Grapevine

Hyatt Place was a great choice to stay at. The staff was super welcoming on check in and check out. The room was clean, the grounds were clean and we felt very safe coming in late in the evening. The breakfast was simple and good, plenty to choose from and they kept it clean and refilled. the only thing we were a bit worried about was the elevator, it was screechy and shaky and felt like it was gonna break any second, although it never stopped working for us and it was fine. It just sounded terrible...lol. Would definitely stay here again as it is very close to everything and includes a shuttle to the area within a 5 mile radius. What a bonus!

Customer service at the front desk was exceptional, however having stayed at Hyatt Place hotels frequently, the Grapevine location seemed like it needed a revamp of its rooms, and entrance. Quite a drab first impression as planters in the front were empty and full trash cans in the lobby during breakfast.

breakfast was good, room nice. Hotel had 2 elevators. One was never open and the other was out of service including when we were leaving and had to make several trips up and down 4 stories to get all our luggage down.

For the price point, this place is clean and comfortable and within a short distance of popular tourist areas. The only frustrating thing about our stay was the problem with the elevators during our stay. When we arrived, one of the elevators was already marked off with a closed sign for repairs. After checking in, we go to get on the open elevator , and after clicking any button that we could, we could not get the elevator going. So then we go to the front desk and tell them and they said that they would reset it even though they have already had to for the day. Of course, this is kind of nerve-wracking but we didn't want to carry our suitcases and kid to the 5th floor. When we woke up the next day for the breakfast (which was kinda lack luster), I pressed the button to go down. Nothing happened and there was no sign saying otherwise. I used the stairs and when I came down, the other guests were talking about the elevator being completely down and needing to be fixed. I understand that things happen and things need to be fixed, but this was obviously a problem that was happening prior to our own arrival. There were so many older couples that were having to make their way down stairs that shouldn’t have had to. I just wish management would have addressed this all earlier —- and clearer to their guests
