Adorable spot!

What a great spot for a chance to explore the adorable town of Grass Valley. We were warmly welcomed and our dog was also made to feel at home. The grounds are well equipped and the cabin was cute and comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the cottage and loved it. Having a full kitchen was super convenient. Bed was comfy. If you have a large vehicle parking would be difficult and the road noise next the cottage are the only negatives. But we'll stay here again!

Bed was excellent, very nice room. Restaurants are about a mile into town. We really enjoyed Fontinellis for dinner, and a stroll down the historic sidewalk at the Del Oro Theater.

Bring your own snacks and only coffee is served in the morning (free). Nothing is within walking distance except the cemetery across the 2 lane highway. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Grass Valley.

Exceeded expectations

I LOVED my stay at the Pines and wish I could have stayed longer. Already planning another trip that way next summer and will for sure stay there again. Tony was nothing but hospitable and provided so many nice little touches to the service. He sent suggestions for places to eat, brought donuts in the morning and went around to each room in the evening with a little tea light for the porch. Having the outdoor space to hang out in was perfect and the room was comfortable, clean and the bed was super comfortable. While it is true that the location is just off a Main Street, the sound of any traffic wasn’t bothersome. Highly recommend!!

Room 1. Check in was simple and entry was through an electronic lock which made access great. Nice studio room with a great little kitchen are and full fridge. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Really appreciated the air conditioner. Not too far from town but far enough to be quiet. Bathroom shower was a bit small but understandable for a Studio room. Needed another role of TP though. Staff was great. Cost was reasonable
