This house was a great find at a great price. The furniture was comfortable, the house beautiful and location breath taking. It's located about mid island so we hit Oak Harbor down to Langley. Freeland cafe had a great breakfast. The deer visited and numerous squirrels, hubby enjoyed the jacuzzi which is sheltered from the weather. Great stay!!

We had a terrific stay at Westside Waterfront. Such a beautiful home, in a lovely location overlooking the water. We absolutely loved having a hot tub! Our reason for the four star rating is the lack of window coverings for the bedrooms. We felt this was a basic detail not only for privacy, but for comfortable sleeping. While the home doesn't have any neighbors that could directly look into the windows, it would have been nice to have window coverings to block the morning sunlight from waking us up earlier than we wanted. Other than that, this home is the perfect place to spend time on Whidbey Island with family or friends.

The property is gorgeous. It’s set in a really quiet part of the island, but it’s still easy to get to. The house has a great wrap around porch that’s great for lounging and looking at the incredible view. We didn’t have cell service, but the wifi is great everywhere in the house. The kitchen had great equipment and it was easy to make big dinners. Wonderful stay, and prettier than the pictures.

A great quiet spot to relax.

A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax. Everything was clean and tidy, listening to the waves and breeze by the firepit was great and the view was even better. My only two very minor comments, the walk to the beach is a little strenuous and trimming the hedge bushes by the porch would enhance the view from the house. We would definitely stay again.

Had several family members to Whidbey for a graduation and rented this home. They loved it! It was well set up and the view was amazing. The family are all from Chicago and Atlanta and enjoyed looking out at the ocean! We will definitely use again.

Whidbey Island Vacation Paradise

The spacious house, wraparound deck with fire table and hot tub, coupled with beautiful sunsets provide for a very relaxing vacation. We once again very much enjoyed our stay.

Slice of paradise on Whidbey Island

Stunning views, privacy, and regular visits by local fauna (bald eagles, chipmunk, deer) made this the ideal home for a family get-together. Expansive wraparound porch, and proximity to the Pantry Cafe were an added bonus! We look forward to future gatherings at this Smugglers Cove gem.

Great girlfriend getaway

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The views were stunning and we loved watching bald eagles and deer each day. The rooms were really comfortable and the hot tub and sauna were an extra fun treat. The cozy kitchen was well outfitted for cooking. The only challenge we experienced was spotty to non-existent wi-fi (the hotspot just wasn’t strong enough to connect) or cell service (esp. Verizon), so we used that as an excuse to truly unplug and relax. Our group of friends enjoyed having this home as our getaway as well as a great location for exploring the island. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Awesome house

Wonderful house, lots of space. Beautiful view, very clean, lots of towels. Only complaint was dishwasher didn’t work very well. Everything else went above and beyond our expectations!

Centrally located we were able to enjoy day trips all over the island! Beautiful home inside and out, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, really enjoyed the wood fireplace in the living room during the evenings and watching the sunset over the sea from the hot tub after our daily excursions!

Beautiful views, spacious, quiet location, comfortable

The home was beautiful, it was a very quiet location, very private like setting. The home was clean and so very inviting. I cannot complain about its beauty, how comfortable and at home we felt. It is perfect for most people, I have no doubt. We are a family of 5 from Missouri. We came to visit family they mostly live in the Oak Harbor area but we were looking for tue perfect house, perfect size and perfect fit and was just fine with a bit of travel as we planned to visit surrounding towns (Langley, Port Townsend, etc). The ONLY negative I can state is that (and I only state that because I hope to improve your experiences in the future): in the description it states a “short” walk to the beach. The beach is a LARGE reason why we come and spend a little extra money to allow kids to play and for us to enjoy the views and the serenity provided from the waves and the breeze. I would recommend a bit more accurate description of the walk. The walk down is “ok” however, it’s quite steep and definitely not appropriate from someone who is elderly, out of shape ir have breathing/health problems
because the walk back up to the house is PAINFUL. It is extremely steep, not much opportunity for resting up for those requiring a bit more time. It’s just misleading and was disappointing for some of our visitors as it definitely limited some of our family time. The other concern I have is that it was a bit difficult to get in touch with the person who oversees the property. If I called I did get an answer and that was fine, however, with my service carrier, calling wasn’t always an option, messaging while being in WiFi was. One question was about trash pick up day because with a family of 5 and cooking most all meals at home, trash was filling up quickly and I didn’t want the wild life to get into it, creating a mess or an injury. I didn’t ever get a response and so I was/am concerned that if it wasn’t taken care of right away that I could be held accountable for a mess/issue that I was trying to be prepared for. We would have gladly made sure the trash cans were at the road in plenty of time. These are very minor complaints. I would definitely consider returning, should it be an available property in the future.

Great friends trip

Had a wonderful stay here. The house was perfect for two families with two toddlers. Very well stocked. Had great games and puzzles. Only complaint was the hot tub was cold and the initial person I called to talk to about it wasn’t very friendly. The second person was great though. We also booked before there was a hot tub so although disappointing it didn’t work we would have stayed without one anyways.

Time spent with family

The house was lovely and all the rooms very cozy. The upstairs porch off the two bedrooms was a nice retreat to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in peace while watching a pair of nesting bald eagles cruise by. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and the addition of the hot tub. The grounds were well maintained and trail to the beach well groomed. During low tide the children spent hours finding shells and pretty rocks. The kitchen was well supplied with small appliances, dishes and cookware to accommodate our group of seven. We will hopefully be able to book this house in the future-we are thinking it would be perfect for a girls only getaway.

Lovely family home

Beautiful views, abundant deer, Eagle, rabbits and ample room to find privacy. If we decided to rent a home for a year to be near our grandson, in the Seattle area, we would select a home like this!

Girls Weekend

We had a great time and loved the house. I would recommend adding instructions on how to put the key box back together. It was challenging and we had to call the management company. Otherwise it was wonderful. Hoping to stay here again with my family!

Beautiful house in peaceful setting

Though this place has no WiFi, cell reception is good and allowed hot-spotting. Of course, it can be a good reminder also to live without internet once in a while. The house is just beautiful with its carefully crafted finishes, nice paint job and furnishings. The setting is peaceful and we had a great time reading and resting, and doing yoga on the deck. We hope to come again.
