J’étais en séjour comme chercheur invité avec un bureau au sud de la ville et des rencontres sur le domaine universitaire. Tout était marchable depuis cet emplacement, avec la piste cyclable et le vélo passant devant l’immeuble. Deux petites épiceries et une boulangerie au coin de la rue, puis tous les commerces de commodité et le centre historique à 15 minutes de marche. Appartement très propre et pratique, tel que vu en ligne. Propriétaire sympathique et avenant, facile à rejoindre au besoin. Ville agréable pour un séjour de touriste voulant voir les Alpes et y skier ou faire de la randonnée sans automobile, profiter du centre historique et ses musées, du hockey, du rugby et du soccer, ou des opportunités culturelles de la vie universitaire, incluant des lieux pour prendre un verre et discuter les moyens d’étudiants… donc aussi fort recommandé pour séjour d’études ou de recherche. Coups de cœur pour l’aube vue depuis le flanc de montagne de la Bastille accessible à pieds depuis le centre-ville, pour le hockey des Brûleurs de loups avec une ambiance très animée dans un amphithéâtre où tous les sièges sont près du jeu, pour NaturaVelo si vous voulez visiter la campagne et des châteaux en profitant du réseau cyclable, puis pour le Bivouac pour une soirée d’ambiance universitaire à boire des verres hors de la bulle touristique.
