Quiet and cozy stay not far from Yosemite. The cabin was clean and check in was easy. Hosts were very responsive when I had a question. The pool was a nice touch. Super clean and well maintained.
Room was dated and cleanliness not great (numerous cobwebs and dust) coffee machine provided but no coffee pods for machine. Windows very dirty, dead insects in bathroom.
It was a great location for our Yosemite trip. The town nearby had many food options. I also appreciated all the attention to detail in our room with the provided amenities, adding additional items like lip balm.
No staff available if room lacking linens etc. We were charged a lot more than posted California allowable rate, missing microwave, water had yellow color, incomplete repairs to room. Taped over wall switches. Left door tag asking for more linens and cups but room not serviced. Finally i suspect ratings influenced by owner and family and not by guests staying. It was a basic rustic cabin. Certainly not deluxe. No place to even set suitcase except floor.
I really loved this place, especially the location. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. I would love to give them an exceptional review but there was one hiccup with this place. They had recently changed out there water heaters and so the first night i was there the water from the sink and shower came out as a rusty brown color. I let them know and they said they would try to get someone out to fix it but due to the 4th of July holiday no one was able to come out. During my second night the water started to look better but still was not clear. I hope to stay here again but i also hope the water comes out clearer next time.
A serene location 3 miles west of Groveland. Great pool hidden away on a hill behind the cottages, check it out. No staff on site but owners responsive via text or phone if you need help. Minifridge and coffee supplie. Bring your own food and enjoy the wind through the pines & starry sky.
