"Le Royal Palms Penthouse 1407 est situé au 561 East Beach Boulevard dans la magnifique Gulf Shores, en Alabama.

Cette incroyable unité de penthouse d'angle vous enchantera à coup sûr! Avec un immense balcon panoramique et de larges vues sur cette chambre, deux salles de bains ont tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour faire de vos prochaines vacances à la plage un succÚs retentissant. Il y a un lit king size dans la suite principale, un lit superposé couloir (pour les enfants seulement s'il vous plaßt!) et un canapé-lit dans le salon rendant cette unité capable d'accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 6 personnes. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse dans l'unité pour votre commodité. Avec une cuisine entiÚrement équipée, manger des repas est un jeu d'enfant! Cet appareil dispose de 2 télévisions à écran plat, d'un lecteur DVD et d'une connexion WiFi pour vous permettre de rester connecté et diverti tout au long de votre séjour.

The balcony sells the place hands down. I really really enjoyed this balcony. The condo is a bit dated with a few upgrades would be so much better. The bed pillows are flat as a flitter. The bedroom bathroom needs a drain cover, those of us wearing contacts get nervous there. The coffee maker should be at least a keurig/pot combo. I was the only one drinking 1 cup of coffee a day so a keurig would have been great. Instructions on using the bedroom tv/remote. The living room remote is missing the battery cover. No storage at all for food purchased for the kitchen, no where to put things unless in refrigerator. The bedroom needs a curtain, the outside light is brighter than daylight itself. The worst was mildew in the shower tracks, hard to care for I know but it was rather gross. Building needs to be mindful of those who do smoke on the balcony as it tends to ruin the quality of the air for those of us who don't.

Second stay at Royal Palms

Other than some updating needed with the TV and a couple of cosmetic repairs, the balcony was super nice to have! There was plenty of hot water for all of us. Plenty of bath towels and rags. Good furniture on patio. Wonderful view! Kitchen size was nice. Wouldn’t recommend hallway beds for anyone over 10. We love the location of the building!

Old and rusty furniture on balcony along with broken beach gear, mold on ceiling air vents, walls. no broom for sand. Leaking faucet in bathroom, neither shower doors work. Very unhappy with this Condo. Only good thing about it is the view and location. Don’t waist your money.

It was okay. The TVs are way too small. Electric grill does not work. Sand was in bed. You one parking pass and one extra is 55$ which is absolutely ridiculous. It was okay tho overall may stay again. But for the price I feel like I can find something way better

Needs work, but all about the balcony.

The location of the building is fantastic, right next to the state land, so the beach isn't overcrowded. Also, the balcony is unbelievable! It's such a shame there isn't better furniture to use on it. All the patio furniture is old and moldy on the seats. We had to use our beach towels to sit on. Mostly used the wire chairs, which were uncomfortable, but at least didn't have moldy cushions. It was also not disclosed to us that there is high-rise construction going on adjacent to the patio. It didn't ruin the outside for us, but it was very noisy from early morning until about 4-5pm every day. Inside was mostly clean, but extremely dated throughout. Floor had no signs of sand, including the carpet, which is nice, however, there were spots around the couch where the floor wasn't clean, and the sofa smelled very musty. Bathroom air conditioner vent in the ceiling was moldy and concerning. The windows are so nice to have additional views of the ocean. Showers were clean, and had good water pressure. Great location of trash chute, right outside of entry. Didn't get to use the indoor or outdoor pool, always loaded with people. Very convenient access to beach directly, and handy shower area next to walkway. The view is so fantastic in this unit, it is a shame to not update the unit and make it really feel like a treat! Probably won't stay in this unit again, even for the view, because of the furnishings. But would definitely stay in the building again.

Up on the roof

Just saw the James Taylor concert in Orange Beach and he played up on the roof. This place reminds me of that song. Beautiful unit needs some more outdoor chairs but other than that it was perfectly clean. Nice place to stay.

Perfect getaway

This condo was the perfect getaway for a few days. The balcony view is absolutely stunning day and night. You have plenty of space to sit in the shade or sun, as well as plenty of seating. As other reviews say there is an access door to the balcony, but it can be locked from the balcony side to secure the condo. It was nice and clean with plenty of indoor seating and comfy beds. The beach is a very short walk with a nice walkway to use. It was also never crowded at this location as it is the last condo before the state park/pier. 10/10 would go back again!

Amazing location with great potential!

The view was great and location amazing. The bed was so soft we want one at our home. The unit overall is outdated and is due for a deep clean. There is mold in showers, floors and baseboards are dirty, underneath furniture hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Furniture is wore and there are way to many chairs, it felt cluttered. Less is more! The main reason we booked this unit was for the huge balcony, which was covered with painting equipment to paint the building. I understand that maintenance must take place, but this was very disappointing. Would have loved a notice or warning. Would think owners would know the work schedule for such a big set up to overtake their condo. Until things are corrected I would not recommend this condo.

Great Location

Location of condo was great! Advertisement didn't disclose that the outdoor pool was closed and indoor pool was being maintenance each day during the day so we didn't have use of the pools like we expected which was one of the reasons we chose the condo. We also were not aware that balcony railing was loose until we arrived which luckily we didn't have kids with us as it would have been dangerous for small children in a penthouse condo. That should have been disclosed. Could do better job on basic amenities, such as having coffee filters, salt and pepper shakers, more than 1 roll of TP per bathroom for a wk stay, more than 1 packet of dishwasher detergent, etc. It was a cute space, but too much furniture for small living quarters. Overall though stay was ok, company was great to work with and even refunded part of costs to make up for pool closures.

The Balcony is beautiful!

The bed was so comfortable! The view was amazing. Unfortunately the pool was under construction, they were working hard to Get it up and running. We would definitely go back. I do wish the door was a keyless entry.

Met our Needs

The condo is small but was fine for my husband and I. It would be a stretch for 5 people and it would have to be at least 2/5 being children. We were disappointed that the pool area was under construction. The management company didn't call to tell us about that until the day before we left on our trip. We chose this rental because it advertised a pool. The week was very windy with red flags all week. The pool would have been a nice ammenity.

Overall the stay was great. A few minor fixes should be addressed. The front lock was broken as well as the patio lock. Also the bunk beds were extremely creeky but otherwise the patio was beautiful and the location of the condo was amazing

Girls Trip

The condo was tastefully decorated and clean. The kitchen well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and dishes, everything you need to cook a meal. Plenty of beds for six people however the bunk beds in the hallway are a bit short. The balcony was massive with a breathtaking view! Great to have all that room since the condo is small.

Condo was VERY small, pics are deceiving. Outdoor furniture is rusted and unsafe. AC unit froze up the first night. Only ONE parking pass for a condo that sleeps 6 people.

Beautiful View

The balcony in the condo is absolutely amazing! Condo itself is basic, provides bare essentials.. outdated broom and no dust pan provided (kinda annoying with the sand that gets dragged in from the beach) Condo worked well for 2 adults/2 children but I would not recommend any more than that. Another great thing was the indoor and outdoor pools. It was nice to have both options including a hot tub. Couple of small things to be aware of is that there is a hallway light located directly outside the master bedroom window that shines directly into the room and the window is not blacked out, the blinds do not prevent it from shining in. Also in both bathrooms the fans and lights run off of one switch and both of the fans make a high pitched screech at first and then are incredibly loud. It makes for getting ready in the bathroom pretty inconvenient because of the loud noise that accompanies it. There’s a closet located by the pools to store beach chairs, umbrellas etc... we had several items taken. Our umbrella both boogie boards and a chair. When we brought our chairs up to our condo to avoid dragging sand through the condo we left them outside our door and received a knock on our door from one of the property workers that we could not leave our chairs there. Be prepared to take your items up to your condo or risk them being taken from the storage closet. Location of the property is perfect not too crowded but in walking distance of restaurants and shops and again the balcony is what makes the condo!

Great balcony, but basic unit

Balcony is wonderful, as is Gulf Shores in general. The unit was pretty basic inside. I think next time if I spend this much money, I'll go for a more updated unit with a normal balcony.

Great Balcony

The balcony alone would have me renting this property again! It was fabulous. The condo was accurately portrayed in the photos. A great space for a couple or small family. The only downside would be the indoor pool area. It could use some refreshing and the patio furniture in this unit could be updated, with a table to eat on outside and some cushions for the metal lounge chairs. The balcony is huge, and some of the space felt wasted without good furniture to enjoy it. But the view makes up for any minor flaws! I would absolutely stay here again.
