The inside was very nice, but could use some close attention to a few maintenance itemsâjust generally not impressed. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and all the items you may need. There were some spices, but many were mislabeled and no salt and pepper. And while there were two coffee makers, no condiments to accompany. And we were a little surprised there were no spare garbage can liners for the kitchen. Based on how many people can stay, most wouldnât think to bring garbage bagsâluckily I had a spare contractor garbage bag in the back of my vehicle.
The master bedroom bath has a big tub and shower, but the bottom is not friction and can use some stick-ones to prevent slipping.
The outside is in need of some attention. It appears that perhaps after the Sally Hurricane a couple of years ago, the property was never really put back in top condition. Just looking at the outside property, you would have questioned what the inside might be like. It would also be nice if there were a few folding chairs to take to the beach. We did use the community pool, but weâre surprised the road was flooded and muddy and in need of re-paving.
To sum it upâthe property was ok, but for the total price, we would have expected more attention to detail. To be at the end of a 20 mile road, you want the place your staying to be impeccable and inviting and this one just falls a shortânot bad, just not great.
