Affectionately nicknamed Daydream Hideaway, this 3BR/2BA Gulf Shores house offers a prime spot right on the beach! Enjoy panoramic Gulf views from a private deck, with steps leading down to the powder-soft sand. Or listen to the rolling surf while swinging in a hammock beneath the house.

LIVING AREAS

Watch the waves from a light-filled living room with lovely Gulf views. Full of coastal charm, this open space features a sleeper sofa, cushioned armchairs, and a 40” flat-screen TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare beach snacks and evening meals in a well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with all-white appliances and cabinetry. Savor morning coffee at the two-person breakfast bar.

A spacious dining area offers seating for six.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This house sleeps up to 10 guests between the three bright and airy bedrooms (each with a 32” flat-screen TV) and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Tucked away upstairs, a spacious master bedroom has two full-size beds and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

On the entry level, a second bedroom comes with a king bed, while the third bedroom features a full-size bed.

A sparkling guest bathroom is appointed with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Spend blue-sky days on a private deck with breathtaking Gulf views. There’s plenty of loungers and built-in seating, with steps leading straight down to the sand.

The space beneath the house includes a picnic table, charcoal grill, a comfy hammock, and an outdoor shower.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer.

Parking is provided for four cars (two under the carport and two in the driveway). Please note that RVs, trailers, fifth wheels, and four-wheelers are not permitted; parking on the street is not allowed.

The living areas of this stilted home are accessed via one flight of exterior stairs from the parking area.

During the summer, this home is only available to rent from Saturday through Saturday.

THE LOCATION

A paradise for beach lovers, this home is set beside a glorious sugar-white beach. Stroll for miles along this idyllic stretch of coast.

Head 3.8 miles farther down the shore to Gulf State Park -- home to a stunning beach and winding nature trails.

Local golf courses are minutes away, including Gulf Shores Golf Club (5 miles). Bringing the kids? Travel 3.5 miles to Waterville USA/Escape House for a day of epic water slides and amusements.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Spring break for college kids & parents

Overall we enjoyed the house & location. It was within 100 steps or so to the beach with a great view. It met our family of 5 with a dog’s needs.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay at this house. It was so easy to go from house to beach with private access. The house is older and well loved but it was very clean. The kitchen was lacking some utensils (measuring cups, decent knives and some pots and pans) and extra blankets would be nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Pictures are deceiving

This house has the potential to be fabulous. The location couldn’t be much better but the furniture is so old, dirty and uncomfortable it’s hard to enjoy it when you’re inside. The pictures that are posted on the rental sites much be from years ago. It’s the same furniture but with a lot more wear and tear. The cookware wasn’t any better. We were pretty disappointed. I sent the property manger pictures and they said they would adress it after out stay. Hopefully they will.

Sweet vacay

We had a great stay. Our concerns were safety for our toddler... the front door didnt lock on the inside (we shoved a chair under the door knob), and the sliding glass door was hard to latch and get locked. The other houses are butted up close, so that could be a concern depending on when you come.. we came in the middle of the week and didnt get neighbors until the weekend, which was nice. We came durring hurricane francine and were worried with other reviews of the property, but it was an overall good stay for us (family of 6)

Great Location, Completely Unkept

The location is perfect, and easily the best part of the property. The property is old and could use some updating, but that could be completely ignored if it weren't absolutely disgusting. Both bathrooms were covered in mold, like true green and black chunky mold. The whole property was covered in dirt, dust and grime. The sofa itself was sunken, worn and in desperate need of a washing. I should have trusted the previous reviews because they were completely spot on. I loved the location and ease of access to the beach, but that's where anything positive about this property ended.

Daydream Hideaway

Beautiful view, however it is a shame that all of the chairs were broken on the deck!! Based on previous reviews, this has been brought to your attention before. Someone is going to get hurt!! Washer/Dryer were good! Furniture is worn out. The sofa was so nasty, that we covered it with a sheet!! The dining room table was white, but covered in permanent marker! We had to buy a table cloth to cover if!! Sliding glass door does not lock and TV never worked in living area. Can’t beat the view and beach, a little attention to detail would have made it great!!

Disappointed stay

The view is amazing BUT the house is a disappointment. One TV didn’t work, the outside patio furniture was broken so you had no way of lounging on the back deck. All the water sport equipment listed on the website wasn’t there and what was there couldn’t be used because of damage. The pull out couch bed could not be slept on because the frame was broken to the bed. All cooking pans were old and hard to cook with. I contacted the property manager by text and sent pictures. They were quick to respond to the text but never came out to fix anything. I will not rent this property again and will not rent another property managed by Vacasa. When you pay $633 a night with all the fees you expect things to be nice and in working order.

Great Beach Front In a Quiet Location

This is a great little house with a nice deck view and easy access to a beautiful and quiet and beach with no crowds to contend with. The house and furniture inside is a little dated but functional. Overall a great experience.

The house layout was fantastic. The room upstairs is great. The views were absolutely priceless. The only thing I would say is the furniture seemed a little dungey or dirty. And the ceiling fan in the living room had tons and tons. Caked on dust, but you can't really. Expect too fancy when you're allowed to bring your dog.

Incredible Gulf-front location. House was very comfortable. We were missing some bed linens and a grill when we arrived but the online Vacasa agent notified the local management right away and they reacted quickly and courteously to provide them.

Amazing beach view

Awesome view from the kitchen, living room and deck. Very short distance to the beach. Great location in general in regards to restaurants, groceries and liquor stores. Beds were very comfy including the pillows. Bring your own cook-wear if you want to cook. Were definitely some wear and tear on the skillets. Do not depend on a grill for grilling out. (One was not located on the property as pictured.) hammock was not there, Spoke with the manager and was told it was not an amenity that was included even though it was listed and pictured. Picnic table needs replaced or repaired, be careful sitting on it. Nice having a washer and dryer. House was clean except for some sand on the floor but what do you expect, it’s a beach house lol. House needs some painting but overall a great place to stay! I would stay again at this same house!

Beautiful location but dirty

The location was perfect. Easy access to beach. Outstanding view. Home was dirty, particularly the bathrooms. Urine was caked on bottom of stools, hair in the tub drain, mold on plastic shower curtain. On a stormy afternoon, water poured into the master bedroom from the ceiling. Came down the wall and poured out of an electrical outlet. Luckily didn’t get bed wet but did get some of our belongings wet. When we called about it, they said they would address it once we left.

Would stay again!

Great location, just far enough from condos and public beaches that the beach was not occupied in front of the house. Close enough to retail and restaurants to be convenient. Coffee or breakfast on the deck with a perfect view of the beach. Kitchen and bathrooms appointed with enough amenities you don't need to bring anything. Laundry was easy to use as well. Wi-Fi sufficient for me to get my work done if I needed. If this property is available, I'd be back yearly, if not more often.

Older House on a Quiet Private Beach

Overall the house was on a quiet private beach with plenty of restaurants close by. The house was clean except under the beds and couch. Beds were comfortable but would recommend a few blankets in the house. Kitchen has basic appliances but you will need to bring all extras such as foil, non stick spray, salt and pepper, etc. There is a small store close by. We really enjoyed just hanging out on the patio in the mornings and evenings!

Location is great

Cons: The house needs to be cleaned. Ceiling fans, baseboards, bathrooms/shower, behind the furniture and under furniture, corners, etc. More towels needed in both bathrooms and kitchen. No trash bags available. We had problems with ants coming in around the window above the kitchen sink.
