Loved our stay

The condo was clean and quiet. Tunis was our 5th trip to the Beach Club. We’ve always been treated well. Dealing with Pam Martin has always been very easy and hassle free.

Nice condo with beautiful view

The condo was very nice and I loved the granite and tile updates the owner did throughout. They provided plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for fun down at the water. The patio furniture was great for eating our meals and looking out over the ocean at sunrise/sunset. All in all I was very pleased with our accommodations.

We had an amazing week in this gorgeous, spacious condo with an amazing ocean view!

This property was well kept and decorated cutely. Beds were very comfortable and nice spacious bathrooms. Starter items got us by till we could make a trip to the very closely located Dollar General. Plenty of cooking pots pans and miscellaneous equipment. Everything we needed for our week minus a pizza pan. But we made do. Loved the location. Far enough out to not be super busy but close enough to gulf shores for shopping & restaurants. Thanks for a very great getaway. Pam was most helpful in setting up and keeping us informed.

Blissful Family Stay

The unit is exactly as described: clean, well maintained, and spacious. Our family of 6 enjoyed every moment and felt very relaxed. The views of the pools, beach and gulf from the unit are breathtaking, and the patio is big enough for everyone to enjoy a meal together sitting around the large table out there. Our four kids comfortably slept in the second bedroom (bunk beds: single on top, queen on the bottom, and a single pull out trundle bed under the queen bottom bunk). We loved having four pools to choose from, which also made the pools not too crowded since people could spread out. The walk to the beach took under a minute and the unit had chairs and umbrellas for us to use. I ran or walked every morning in the small neighborhood that sits in front of the condo buildings. Small area, but picturesque and safe. It was a great way to start each day!

We loved this condo. Pros:Primary bed was very comfy! Bathrooms were updated and clean. A lot of fluffy towels were available. Ceiling fans in every room. AC worked great. Kitchen seems well stocked although we only used a couple of plates and coffee mugs. The owner also sent us a box of goodies that were such a delicious treat! Cons:None. The only thing I would recommend would be for the owner to get a new coffee pot. The regular one was extremely old and kind of janky with a broken lid. There was a Keurig coffee pot too, but we didn’t have any pods. Cushions for outside Adirondack chairs would have been nice too. But I’m just being picky :-)

Great condo!

We’ve been to the beach club many times and have never been disappointed. This condo was great for our family of 4 and had all the basic amenities we needed. The primary bed was very comfortable there was plenty of living space. The balcony was a good size as some of the other units have smaller ones. The only negative I have is the TVs in the bedrooms
 one wasn’t setup and the other needed a new remote. Overall it was great and we would stay here again!

Great week at the beach!

My family and I had a great week staying here! Pam provided clear instructions before hand about check in/out, so there was no need to contact her during our stay! The view from the balcony is awesome! The pool was nice. There were lots of beach items provided in the closets. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. The resort was a little busier than I expected, even with it being summer since it is so far out. However, we still had a great time! I would stay here again!

Peaceful Retreat

Our condo was beautifully decorated and had the most amazing view. The check-in process was so easy. I highly recommend the spa! Everyone was wonderful, and I didn’t want to leave. The only trouble we had was with the refrigerator not cooling properly. The settings had been changed. By the next morning, all was well. Overall, it was an amazing trip.

Wonderful week!

Family tradition takes us to Beach Club Resort almost every year. This was our first year booking through Vrbo instead of directly with the resort and there weren’t any problems at all. Pam was great with communication prior to our arrival. Everything was in great working order so no need to bother her while we were there, do wish it had a keurig instead of a traditional coffee pot but that was really the only thing I’d change. Master bedroom was great loved the set up with the separate shower toilet space and vanity so we could still have space to get ready while someone showered. Loved the space for the kids in the second bedroom, we try to make sure everyone has a bed and with the full/twin bunk bed with a pullout trundle underneath all the kids had their own bed. Would highly recommend Catalina 1108!

4th 2024

My family & I really enjoyed the condo and the property. The beach was clean and the water so clear. The MBdrm bed was so comfy & clean. Only complaint, the TV in the MBDRM did would not connect with anything. Just lit up. This was on reason I have a 4 rating. Suggest owner replace with larger screen, smart TV in MBdrm. The current is the size of a computer screen. I would give. 4.5 if I could because we really enjoyed ourselves. I think the TV is wanted, by honestly, I did not miss it. Ms. Martin was notified and provided some steps to try, which did not work for us. She tried, and we let it go and enjoyed everything else. The Club is amazing. The Village was awesome. So much to do and food all around and close. Must go to Jesse's. Lastly, I had family arrive in the middle of the night. Their name was not on list. I had sent in late and unfortunately I had to wake up an associate of Ms. Pam and she was great. She took good care the issue and had family in within a 15-20 minute wait. This also confirmed the wonderful security on property. I was impressed all the way around with this property and will come back. The 4th of July show, best ever! Totally enjoyed!!!

If your standards are low this is the place for you

The positives are the resort itself is nice, if you stayed at another unit it might be enjoyable. This owner spared every expense for their place. All the furniture was cheap, the table leg literally broke off when we sat down for our first meal. Tried to move to the table and 3 of the bar stools were broken. All the dishes in the cabinet had to be washed before they were usable. There was no pizza pan, no baking sheets, all of the kitchenware was the cheapest or thrifted. I think using older things is great, if theyre functional. The closet in the 2nd bedroom can be used by maybe a child, thats the only person who could squeeze in there. The coffee table is so large for the space you cant move around it and its probably the sturdiest thing in the living room. And it took 2 people to move it to use the sofa sleeper. And then theres two chairs in there that also make it difficult to use the sleeper sofa. Add an extra chair in the walkway. There werent any blankets for the sofa sleeper either. So, by the time we bought cleaning supplies, baking sheets and blankets,we were pretty done. And then while we were sleeping the light fixture fell down on top of us in the master bedroom. This owner is a local realtor, so i dont see much excuse for the property to be in such disrepair. I tried messaging prior to arrival to inquire about a resort website or other info, no response except here, sign the rental agreement. Sent messages about the issues and no response there either.

Furnishings were good, but overall it was poorly cleaned upon arrival, uncomfortable master bed (very hard mattress), unappealing bath towels (old, dingy, not soft), underwhelming kitchen tools/cooking essentials - many pots/pans were dirty and had to be cleaned before use and countertop was not cleaned well - we had to purchase Clorox wipes and wipe it down well before cooking. Could not use dresser in twin bunk room bc the drawers fell out too easily. Couldn’t access closet in that space bc of poor furniture arrangements. Did not complain to management about the cleaning job bc we were ready to start our vacation and didn’t want to deal with someone coming back to try again at basic cleaning. If they didn’t care enough to get it right before we arrived, we weren’t interested in round 2. We chose to wipe things down ourselves - including cleaning toothpaste spit off the master bath sink mirror. Floors were not well cleaned either. It is clear that this unit doesn’t put much effort into the end of summer cleaning for fall break tenants. We definitely left the space cleaner than we found it. Love paying that cleaning fee for a job poorly executed! Great view, stunning property, beautiful beach. We had a wonderful vacation and will be back to The Beach Club, but most likely not unit C-1108.
